The best way to mess with the tappers is to download a huge pile of media and immediately delete it, making a silent mental note to never go near them again. They'll assume you have watched them, and use them as scripts against you. Meanwhile, you'll have the comical reassurance of them looking like madmen, blurting lines and pantomimes that come from who-knows-where.
And do it regularly, just to be sure. For added effect, play them when you're not watching or listening, too.
