Li is my secondoldest character, next to Kate. She’s been through the most characterdevelopment but I have no story for her.For her story to be properly told she has to be a side character and I can’tfit her with a main character I like.
I think this guy isin like, the only love triangle I ever wrote. It’s a story unfortunately reminiscentof the young adult dystopian novels seen around with a white girl savior caughttrying to choose between two boys. Percy’s the “good” choice, sides with thegovernment and very mild.
Yuan is fromFlipside Tales, one of three main characters. She’s a aro/ace autistic girl,and her power is mind control—but only for a few minutes, and only after shemakes skin contact with whoever she wants to control. Which is an issue,because touching people is one of the worst things ever.
Konr and Teiona havenever had a proper story actually. Just a vague idea of Konr being an old trollwho’s gone to live on his own because his tribe is too rowdy for him, and herescues a young elf girl who he found nearly dead (kicked out by her clan)anddd not a whole lot else? Little 14 year old me wasn’t squicked out by theage gap and played around with them being in a romantic relationship but nowwhen I think of them he’s more like her dad or grandpa.
and here we haveChandler’s husband, Mark. Also a professional ballerina, and was part of thesame troupe as Chandler until she got kicked out and he left in solidarity. He’sa giant dweeb and loves little kids.
The Shade is the badguy of the story. Uh. I don’t know a whole lot about her except she used to bean evil sorceress and she’s trapped and mind controlling dragons to try andescape and wreak havoc.
back to A Forest anda City. Rava is the queen of the fae. Beautiful, strong, cunning and prettymuch everything you could hope for in a ruler. She advocates against themindset that most fae have, which is that humans are dirt and fae are the all-powerfulsuperior beings. She wants to attempt to recreate the cities where humans andfae used to live together, and pleaded time and time again for the rebel groupto just stop and talk, because she was willing to make compromises, but they’revery set in their ways and now she’s in charge of a civil war that she believeswas entirely avoidable. She’s generally a happy person but right now, is verybitter about situation.
Enrique is Diego andJessica’s older brother. He’s a freshman in college, majoring in magitech engineeringand still living at home with his family. Kind of standoffish and bookwormy,very literal and not very good at socializing.
im surprised thatonly one set of parents was randomly picked. Anyhow, this is Brandon’s(big blond guy from afaac) mom andstepdad. Olivia is a sweet if kind of stern woman and her new husband is a bit awkwardaround Brandon since he was veryclose with his late father. But everyonegets along.
these numbers werefar away from each other but I’m glad they were both picked—Cayce is 100%human, living a totally normal life with her mom, and then one day somethingbright collides into her and fuses with her body and mind. The new voice in herhead is trapped and doesn’t have any memories of what they are other than a “song”(long droning notes that nearly give Cayce a nosebleed) that they’re certain istheir name. Cayce opts for something more pronounceable and nicknames themRoan. Sometimes they switch out who’s in control, it’s all good chaos.
Ahinoam is thesupporting character/best friend in Triske. She’s also part of the Eika, theyoungest family member of her clan. She’s completely deaf, communicates some bya standard sign language that she learned from her great aunt (also deaf whofound a larger community of deaf people in big cities) but mostly throughbroader gestures and facial expressions, which makes her the perfect candidateto befriend Ira, who doesn’t know the language when he’s brought to theirvillage. She’s very cheerful and loves to dance, since eika music includes lotsof big drums she can feel the beat rather than hear it.
Oh boy, moreroleplay characters! Jey is actually a monster that was created to kill “angels”who were kind of a weird species of winged animals with crazy op powers. Thisis just their human form. But they’re really a sweetie and well, was kind ofdating one of those angels and yeah. They killed him. It was heartbreaking.
Xavier is a secondgen character, Naomi’s second kid with Tuna(other brain’s oc). He’s a totalmama’s boy and gets bullied by his sisters a lot who are both bigger andstronger than him.
Eithane (what was Ithinking. 12 year old me pls stop trying to be creative with names) is a demonwho used to possess some of my really old characters but I brought into thisroleplay for the lulz. I actually ended up doing some heartbreaking scenes withhim too tho.
I’ve actuallyalready talked about Yael extensively. But to summarize, dragons areshapeshifters and imprint on their parent to look exactly like them until theyhit puberty and learn how to hold their own shape. She imprinted on a human andis stuck like this until she’s 15-16ish probably.
Belleza is Ceawlin’smother, a water witch, which is very rare—all witches are attuned to an elementthat they work with to use their magic, and all witches get burned by water,EXCEPT water witches. She’s very powerful and has a lot of quests to her name,which is a lot for Ceawlin to live up to.
Mockingbird isCeawlin’s guide, helping him find the temples where the other bird deities aretrapped so that he can free them. Any more than that would be too muchexplaining.
Bronwyn is quiteliterally a rock—an enchanted rock that’s designed to soak up ambientmagic/energy in the air and convert it into useable healing energy, and storesit in themself. Except they were stolen and put into the pommel of a sword andused to heal warriors in battle while stealing the energy of opponents to killthem easier. Needless to say they’re kind of extremely messed up now and haven’teven taken on a human form/projection in centuries and have forgotten a lot ofstuff, like what they used to do before they were used to kill.
REKKE AND BAYANI, MYBABIES. Well y’all should already know about Rekke, I drew an entire webcomicwith her in it, though she wasn’t there enough in my opinion. She’s a bubblyangelfish mermaid, and she acquires a necklace that gives her legs—she’s stillgot scales, it just gives her legs and gets rid of her fins. And on land shemeets her girlfriend Bayani, who plays the ukulele and does song covers onyoutube, and wants to be a hair stylist. They’re adorable together.
Xot was also part of my very first roleplay– part of a weyr of dragons that were kind of like the mafia. it’s gr8. Xot was only like 11 or 12 in the beginning but everyone was terrified of her because she got stuff done and snuck up on people silently and everyone was sure she’d assassinate them. Good times.
THIS gal is the cousin of one of the main characters in Flipside Tales, a story where roughly 5% of the world’s population randomly gets superpowers during what was called the “flip” which is when the sun fried a lot of important technology stuff. Anywho, she got a power, and she can turn back time exactly 24 hours– but only if she dies. She found out cause she got mugged in a back alley and then… restarted. Went back because, well, she had to be sure. Died again. Third time around she avoided going to that end of town and then went about her life. She thinks she’ll stop resetting time when she dies of natural causes rather than murder or freak accidents or jumping in front of a train to fix something that went horribly wrong that day. She hopes.
