It's so nice, how silent it is. A change to the noise they are used to. Sullivan makes calming motions on the pinket's hand, Victor leaning against the raven's shoulders. The two were different than the raven, he could take all the hate, he took all the damage. He caught them as they fell, kept them above the rest. His smile remained calm and happy when he was alone with them, and the fruit dove finds the way he brushes off the insults to be almost noble.

And Victor tries just as hard. The times when Sullivan get's out of control, he grounds him. They ground him. They keep each other from becoming to distressed, or angry.

Honestly Rei loves the balance. 

Sullivan is so dark, and Victor remains in the middle, while he'd been told he's much, much lighter. Even with all his problems, and how he thinks himself to be so uninteresting.

But they both remain by his side, the ravens hands falling still now, and he can hear the soft, silent snores. But he still twitches, the terrors hitting him in the broad daylight. The dove finds it distressing, and Victors awoken from his sleeping when Rei moves to smooth a hand through the ravens hair.

The cinematic bird grins, shaking his head slowly.

"He'll be fine, Rei. He has us, right? He might be his own worst enemy but, we'll be his parachute. We'll catch him if he falls." Slowly, Rei turns to stare at Victor, and smiles slightly. Yeah, he was right. More so than he thought.
