And so she has broken me out of an art block that I have been in for ages~ it’s been a while since I sketched something this quick and with this amount of satisfaction :)

Also I have colour-feelings synesthesia and this is the colour I associate with the feelings her character gives me 👀

Today with us the founding member Impulse, alongside bassist and guitarst Mumbo and Grian, here to give us a sneak preview of their second album, next title track, and teasers for the next touring hotspots.

rambles about the details~

Impulse's tattoos are obviously of the famous "i" but the fern also represents magic, fascination and a secret form of love that I feel just fit this AU's Impulse well.

The yellow drumsticks are directly inspired by Josh Dun, the drummer from Twenty One Pilots.

Impulse is the shortest in the band.

The sticker on Mumbo's bass states "this band sucks".

The bass and skirt are directly inspired by Calum Hood (5 Seconds of Summer) who has worn a kilt consistently throughout the last tour and I adjusted it to fit Mumbo better.

Mumbo's the only member of the band without piercings or tattoos.

The coloured streaks in Grian's hair change quite quickly and often.

He enjoys upcycling new clothes and mending others with brightly coloured patches.

Grian's guitar is supposed to have a Mumbo moustache sticker... I just didn't get around to it yet as this isn't the final guitar I am giving him.

My current health makes it very difficult to draw, but as I've been catching up on the Hermitcraft videos that I missed as well as my current revisitation of the Spidey hyperfixation this came out of a doodle session!

I am the most proud of this one~ I genuinely feel like I captured the energy well.

fun fact: Everyone but Joe was drawn within 30 mins per piece in the corner at a party.
