I’m almost done with the empty grave and I am not ready to say goodbye to my babies
george karim
it's literally the scene
In the first place, Lockwood is right when he says of the bone glass, ‘It’s not a mirror. It’s a window’ (WS 314). Whereas a mirror implies narcissism, windows suggest engagement with the world outside the self, and it is this openness to new experiences and new relationships which saves Lockwood’s little band from death or disaster. George sees Flo for the first time through a window (WS 315), and it is she who proves to be what his heart desires, not what he can (or in fact can’t) see in the bone glass.
