Double pack of a interesting and hypothetical forms what's i make it today and i will told the context about this.

1: i called this form as the semi-werehog,it is a result to stopping the transformation when sonic has the chip's ring during the night, this happends if sonic kept or regain his werehog form after the events of sonic unleashed, also the ring can blocking the transformation before the sun set's and if this happend's the only way to become the werehog, sonic need's to remove the ring in the night.

I consider it as a balanced form becaused he kept his speed but he doesn't have the same strength in what have in his werehog form and his stretching arms is limited now, so he need's to figure it out to defeat the egg robots.

2: for the second form i decided to called this as the light gaiahog (named before as the light warrior form),i based this to ¿what if sonic absorbs the light gaia energy during the event's of sonic unleashed? This happend's if sonic uses the chip's ring during the day, maybe this form don't have the same strength of the werehog or the same power of super sonic but his light gaia abilities and his improved speed makes up for it.

I decided gave him a look more like a light fairy guardian what of a beastly or animalistic look.

My desing is inspered to the gaiahog from @the-heart-of-a-monster and as an tribute to chip/light gaia.

So apparently I had this stuck as a WIP for about 5 years until recently. It's super rough, but at least I can say it's finally finished 😅

It's suppose to be a re-animate of this scrapped teaser storyboard for Unleashed:

I can't believe i'm still discovering things from Unleashed in the year 2025.

I've been analyzing the intro again for an animation i've been working on, and I'm not sure if anybody caught this detail and i'm just slow to realize it:

His skin goes pitch black from an initial surge of Dark Gaia energy flooding underneath his skin

and then it bleeds back to his regular skin color from the finger tips (don't mind his horrible fingienails)

But the initial bloom that stays is what pales his hand to the light blueish-gray skintone the werehog usually has. Dark Gaia sure gives one awful body-wide bruise

other silly little details that I only just discovered:

-You can see him turn his head away in the upper right corner of the reflection

-The slam actually cracks the glass underneath

I wasn't able to get the werehog leveled with where Sonic's standing on the left.. I apologize 😔 But I tried my best to show the parallels between the idle animations!
