Audrey Hepburn and her beloved pet fawn, Pippin.
The pair met during the 1959 filming of Green Mansions, where it was suggested she take the fawn home to build a trusting relationship. The fawn would be named Pippin but commonly known as Ip, and would be well loved throughout his stay. Sleeping in in her custom bathtub, visiting supermarkets, and becoming a favoured guest at Hollywood events.
The wall is silence, the grass is sleep, Tall trees of peace their vigil keep, And the Fairy of Dreams with moth-wings furled. Plays soft on her flute to the drowsy world.
