My favorite piece of jewelry is my gold amethyst ring (my mom🎔 gave it to me on her deathbed), usually followed by a gold ruby ring. I also have many a favorite piece of jewelry, another being a thin gold necklace with an amber pendant.

Anyway, probably a pair of ankle boots or sneakers.
New book/fic that has you in its grip: None. I don't read anything excessively lengthy because of my poor eyesight.
One drink you can't go without: Water. I know you were expecting alcohol. ^_^ I live to surprise.😅
Latest kitchen fail: My fridge went kaput in the middle of a heat wave. Does that count?🤔🙃
A piece of media you have been wanting to watch for ages but never got the time to: Darkness of Man (2024). I 'snagged' it almost a year ago, and I haven't watched it yet.

I wouldn't use the word, "latest". Kara Danvers, Alex Danvers, Lena Luthor, Jane Rizzoli and Maura Isles have been living rent-free in my head for long, long years. ^_^ (As for Jane & Maura: even longer than a decade)
