Playing The Darkspawn Chronicles DLC and I just met Zevran. All I can think of is the fact that he still has his Antivan leather boots. Even if they didn't become a warden, Tabris still found and fell for him hard.

Just wanna say I'm so happy about someone supporting OCs. There are so many fandoms I've been in that act like OCs are nothing but cringe (which really bothers me because I hate the word cringe in general). How do you feel about OCs paired with Canon characters, though? I feel like those OCs get treated the worst.
Honestly, I think everyone has a right to self-indulge and let their creativity run free! There’s just such a stigma in some fandoms that I know a lot of people feel like they need to hide or outright stop creating OCs/shipping them with canon characters/etc, which I think is quite sad. ;; If anything, I think it’s wonderful to see the different minds that lurk within a fandom and all the incredible ideas that come out of everyone! And if it prompts someone to write more, draw more, or express themselves in different ways, all the better!
So yes! So long as everyone is having fun and no one is being hurt (i.e. bashing other OCs/pairs aaaaa) then I’m in support of it! c: <33

Just a suuuper quick note based off the comment I added on my giveaway post just now: my next giveaway will probably not involve a physical prize that is mailed to you, but fancy digital art of your Persona OC! Note that I won't be drawing this--I'll be commissioning someone to do so instead! :'D I am a bit of a commission fiend and have lots of art of my own Persona OC by beautiful artists, and would love to spread the love to one lucky winner.

Man as someone who indulges on pairing my ocs with canon characters I'm pretty glad there's someone who gets it omg. I don't tell a lot of people about it due to it usually being "frowned upon" in fandoms
I think some of the stigma might just be from those who are uncomfortable with characters who just don’t totally fit the canon/are just author avatars/etc but…??? I’m of the mind that this kind of stuff is easy enough to avoid if it’s not your cup of tea–which I absolutely understand may not be for everyone, and that’s fine! c:–but that it shouldn’t be discouraged either since this is how a lot of people like to show appreciation for a particular series: by directly immersing some part of themselves, whether that be creating a OC, self-shipping, etcetc!
