Is Transformers: Earthspark worth watching?

So for context, I'm a newer Transformers fan that started Transformers Prime as my first introduction to the franchise around last month; at the moment, I've just finished Prime, and I'm now moving onto watching Transformers: Animated. My plan afterwards was to watch Earthspark.

...Now I'm at a crisis, though.

For context, week or two prior to finishing Prime, I checked the Transformers SubReddit to see general opinions about the show - from what I saw, it was a decent show that just so happened to aim for a more family-friendly and childish audience.

But when I finished Prime's penultimate episode, I checked the Subreddit again...and now I'm finding out it gets bad during and after Season 2 - and its not even an unpopular opinion either, even people who like Earthspark could agree that beyond Season 1 is when the series plummeted in quality in pretty much...well, everything.

So to those who have finished or are at least almost finished with the series, is Transformers Earthspark STILL worth watching despite the alleged quality drop, or do you suggest another show to watch?

Which TMNT series do I start with?

Okay not a lot of you know, but recently, I've started to see a LOT of TMNT content on TikTok and Youtube recently...around 4 days ago.

I ended up going down a pretty big rabbit hole just looking at TMNT content...and I have a feeling all of this is a sign that I need to dig deep into the franchise.

The problem is... Which series do I start with??? I originally wanted to start with Rise because I loved the art style and animation clips I saw, but then I found out a lot of people hated that show...AND there were a lot of plot changes compared to the previous shows.

And then I found out my parents watched the original 80's cartoon when they were kids, and recommended me to watch it...

Turns out people REALLY liked the 2003 TMNT even though I never even KNEW there was a 2003 show.

And then there is the 2012 version - the most iconic one, and the most well-known; I don't even need to explain.

So all of these thoughts people have and my own plans to explore the series are kinda complicated...I also know there are a LOT of the movies and comics to check out so I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO ANYMORE.

So TMNT fans, please help me answer this...

TLG AU Idea!!

Unfortunately there isn't much Ono content in the wild...or at least fics focused on him...so I MADE MY OWN!! While I haven't gotten to develop this AU much yet + I need to rewatch the show...I still wanna share the AU Idea so SCREW IT!!

So when I was first watched the show, and got around to Ono's Idol...I really liked the episode!

However, what really interested me was this;

What would've happened if Hadithi ended up imprinting his talons in the Mud Print Ceremony?

Because here's the thing - the rest of the Guard didn't KNOW where Ono was, they only knew he was last with Hadithi.

The only reason that Ono even survived Janja and his crew was because Hadithi hesitated during the ceremony and ended up announcing that he was in trouble. So basically...what if Hadithi's doubts didn't get the better of him, and what if the Guard never found out where Ono was until it was too late?

The planned name of this AU is Fallen Feathers.

I genuinely can't wait to develop this AU more once I refresh my memory and work out the story hehe

yeah!! my relationship w/ the TMNT franchise has been kinda complicated tho; NOT IN THE BAD WAY LEMME EXPLAIN

I mainly really wanted to dig deep into the franchise last October, and I still do...only problem is that I can't find any sites where I can watch the shows legally (can't pirate since my parents have had a bad history with free websites)

Haven't dug too much into the series either because I still want to be surprised and not spoil myself on some aspects of the show for when i get to actually watch it sooooo....yeah.

I might try finding a Google Drive where I can watch all of ROTTMNT and 2012 since those are the TMNT shows I'm most interested in, since that's how I'm gonna be watching LMK

but uhhhh yeah

TLDR; Yes!! I am very much into ROTTMNT and TMNT (I love you Raph and Donnie), but in a sense where i'm kind of watching from the sidelines :)

i found an old reddit post from when the Rise character designs were first revealed and MY GOLLY, SO MANY PEOPLE HATED THEM 😭

like yeah i expected some hate towards the designs since they were out of the norm at the time but i didnt expect that much dang????
