Which TMNT series do I start with?

Okay not a lot of you know, but recently, I've started to see a LOT of TMNT content on TikTok and Youtube recently...around 4 days ago.

I ended up going down a pretty big rabbit hole just looking at TMNT content...and I have a feeling all of this is a sign that I need to dig deep into the franchise.

The problem is... Which series do I start with??? I originally wanted to start with Rise because I loved the art style and animation clips I saw, but then I found out a lot of people hated that show...AND there were a lot of plot changes compared to the previous shows.

And then I found out my parents watched the original 80's cartoon when they were kids, and recommended me to watch it...

Turns out people REALLY liked the 2003 TMNT even though I never even KNEW there was a 2003 show.

And then there is the 2012 version - the most iconic one, and the most well-known; I don't even need to explain.

So all of these thoughts people have and my own plans to explore the series are kinda complicated...I also know there are a LOT of the movies and comics to check out so I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO ANYMORE.

So TMNT fans, please help me answer this...

As a new, uprising TMNT fan, WHERE DO I START.

Okay, so I am between pojects as of now. Next in my mind is this new SL next gen fic about Gastina's younger daugther Laura experinecing some teenage heartbreak and learning in the process (with somever hard methoeds that cause Nina to ahve some PTSD. If you know, you know). But the last thing in my queue as of now is the last act of Ruedas, and I don't really want to have two chapters of Nest gen stroried back to back.

So here are some otehr story ideas I have swrliring arund in my head.

And yes, I keep working on S2AU, but that doesn't extend my queue, since I uptate it when ever I want.

So, what should I write next?

This never happened to me. I had many ships / OTP in my life but I never imagined them in a song before. All thanks to this shipdom, again. You can be proud.

So, I was listening to this song when I started to feel like Mikasa could say these things to / about Levi. There’s too many times I was thinking that it portrays them quite nicely! Just the moment the singer says “C’est peut-être toi que je suis des fois” translated to “Maybe it's you that I am (following) sometimes”, “Je suis” means both “I am” and “I follow ”, and Mikasa is definitely the mirror or maybe the face of the same coin she shares with Levi. She's both like him, and she trust him to guid her in this world.

Just... “I want to see the shadow of the other you, The one that the world does not know” Levi and Mikasa both shares a big trauma that they probably didn’t share a lot in their life, who could better understand them than eachother ? “I want to see in you everything that I’m not”, they need eachother in their lives, Mikasa needs Levi to progress, change and forget the bad things of her life.

Just wanted to share this with you. I’ve never done this honestly, analysing a song and trying to parallel it to other people. But that’s how I feel when listening to it, I can’t stop thinking about Rivamika when hearing it.

i’m doing a report type thing on the trans community and i’m struggling to find resources!!!

my two focus questions are:

How were the Trans Community treated before, during and after the Stonewall Riots?

How does location affect the Trans Experience in the world we live in today?

i need six different types of sources (website, interview, documentary, article etc!) so if ANYONE could send me links or recommend documents i can access i would very much appreciate it!!
