A Little Snack

I cooked up these cutesy polymer clay ice lolly charms a few weeks ago.

I used a previous design of mine from when I made a “day at the seaside” charm bracelet for a Bead (now Bead and Jewellery) magazine. I took my chocolate coated ice cream design and turned it into these lovely kawaii strawberry ice lollies – or “mivvies” as we call them in the UK.

A few months ago (I’m not so good at getting round to posting my creations) I made this beaded house for a friend’s birthday.

For the house shape, I used the gingerbread house from the Threadabead company (I love this company, they have some  amazing beading patterns and kits that you can buy – check them out). I transferred the house pattern to paper and designed each side of the house, so that my pal had her own unique mini home. That’s her and her puppa going out for a walk.

I certainly learned somethings from this. I need to use beads with more contrast next time, so that the picture stands out more. You can see a video clip of this house on my Instagram.
