“Ahhh… Let’s see… where to start, yanno? Don’t rush me. Gimme a sec.” Mizumachi leaned back, his head hitting the wall as he started to think about his answer. He and Avery haven’t known each other for long, but that didn’t mean he wouldn’t be able to form an answer of some kind about the other guy.
Where to start… huh? “Well, the guy’s pretty tall? Shorter than me, but that’s not saying much. Most people are shorter than me.” It was just a fact, but Avery was probably only a couple of inches shorter than him, so really, it wasn’t that big of a difference. It was harder for him to find those who were similar to him in height than it was to find people much shorter than him.
“Avery said that he’s not really into contact sports, and I can get that. He doesn’t really seem like a super sporty guy, yanno? Like, he doesn’t really seem like the aggressive type to wanna tackle into people and throw them onto the ground.” Somehow, he felt that Avery also wouldn’t particularly like being a sweaty mess either.
“Just something about him makes it seem like… I dunno, that he really keeps himself together? Like he’s uh… like uh… a well-groomed show dog? They look pretty and walk all fancy and stuff. They look pretty and got those fancy backgrounds.”
In the lamest of terms, he was essentially saying that Avery had this sophisticated air about him and he seemed like he came from a well off family. He likely wouldn’t be seen getting down and dirty with any of the local ‘sporties’ of the area.
Speaking of being like a pretty show dog… “The guy is kinda pretty too? Like, he could be one of those idol guys or something? I bet he’s prettier than Sakuraba.” Well, considering that Sakuraba had cut his hair short, and he was playing a super manly sport like American Football—it would be hard to remain a super pretty model, huh? “Yeah, he’s prettier than Sakuraba. I wonder if that hair color is natural? It’s an odd color, but it’s pretty. It’s like those Sakura blossoms that bloom in the spring, yanno?”
There wasn’t much that he could say about Avery, but he was doing this best. “He’s pretty cool, I’m sure the more we get to know each other, we can become good friends.” Mizumachi grinned happily.
