Izumi sighed a bit, for Ponsol hadnāt woke up from him walking into his room or putting the cool pad on his forehead. Good. He gave a satisfied nod, just before Ponsol would turn around to the side, making it fall from his forehead and having the sheet fall a bit uncovering the upper side of his back. Another frown of annoyance he moved the pillow a bit to the side and raised the covers again. As for the pack it felt like a waste but it wasnāt like he could do anything about it⦠except maybe bringing an adhesive cooling pad from home⦠He would have to return anyway to get some ingredients for some porridge anywayā¦
For now, however, he merely did an attempt of getting him on his back once more, putting a couple of pillows on the side to keep him in place before putting the pad once more on his forehead. How strange it was to see the all mighty heir like this⦠he was almost cute.
However he didnāt wanted to disrupt his sleep any further, so for now he left the room. Leaving the door almost closed as to keep the sound from the outside from bothering him, Izumi opened one of the windows, retrieved the broom and proceeded to clean around the place. It was good that he didnāt had any important plans today, except for that one study meeting he could just cancel.
He made sure to pick up all the papers, and unsure of what was still needed and what wasnāt, he just pilled it all up on the closest desk, trying to keep some semblance of order from what he could understand. He also organized what he could of the desk without intruding too much.
Once that was done, his eyes fell onto the couple of shirts tossed to the side. Sighing a bit, he picked them up and folded them properly, not wanting to see them anymore wrinkled than they already were.
Seeing everything was looking a bit better, he returned to the front entrance, leaving it so it wouldnāt close on its own before taking a quick run, first to the glass trash bin at the end of the corridor (to get rid of the glass shards) and then to his own apartment. Quickly he picked a little box of adhesive cooling pads and placed in a bag the ingredients he needed to try and make some porridge.Ā
Once he was back into Ponsolās apartment, he locked the door once again and placed all of the ingredients in the kitchen table. Humming to himself one of the Knights songs he knew by heart, he soon got complete control over the kitchen, washing, cutting and cooking easily.
Once the preparations were ready, Izumi left the pot on the stove on low. Heād like to time it so Ponsol could eat it as soon as he woke up, but he wasnāt sure how long that would take.
For now, he made sure to clean after his little cooking and put everything in the bag to take back to his own place. Only when he was done with that, did Izumi finally stepped again into Ponsolās room to see how he was doing.
[ā§ļ¾ļ½„*ā*dļ¾ā§ ] Ponsol could feel that he was being moved, but was too tired to do much of anything about it. He could always just roll over again to get more comāhe canāt move. He tried to roll over again, but something was in his way. Something soft. How dare something get in his⦠sleepy⦠tired⦠whatever. He gave up on trying to roll over, but then he forgot and tried to move again not even 5 minutes later.
He was the type that enjoyed to move around in his sleep to find a nice sleeping position. Depending on his condition, certain positions were more comfortable for him, but with the pillows blocking his way, he had no choice but to stay on his back. How stifling.
Vaguely he could hear that someone was in the kitchen cooking, opening and locking the front door, but he didnāt pay too much attention to it. At any rate, he may have thought that it was Shugarl who had come to check up on him. Had that much time passed already? Maybe he was in such a deep sleep it was as though time flew?
Slowly he opened his eyes to look at the alarm clock next to him, but his vision was blurry and his mind was a mess. He couldnāt read the clock properly and he had thought a couple of hours has passed since heād woken up. Still, it was too early for his brother to be here? Ahh⦠whatever, it is what it is at any rate.
Though⦠itās time to move these pillows and kick the blanket off. Too hot. He shoved the pillows off the bed and he kicked off the blanket and dropped back onto the bed. Not even a minute passed when he sat up and he unbuttoned his pajama shirt and tossed it aside. He hated the feeling of the sweat making his clothes stick to his body, so uncomfortable. Thatās when a slight chill sent a shiver down his spine and he moved to drape the blanket back over his body.
Without the restrictive pillows being in his way, he could roll over onto his side and he curled up into a ball underneath the covers. It was almost like a cat curling up underneath some warm blankets, which was ironic, since he didnāt like cats. He was going to keep on sleeping until he really needed to, or someone woke him up.
By this point, if Izumi walked into the bedroom, heād see that the pillows were pushed off the bed, a shirt was now laying on the floor after heād haphazardly threw it off, and he was now curled up underneath his blanket. He was a hassle to deal with when sick, thatās for sure.
