I know there are reasons as to why someone can't or won't evacuate during a hurricane, even one of this magnitude. But there are reports of people on Florida beaches waiting to watch the estimated fifteen-to-twenty foot storm surge hit and I can't think of a single solid reason for that other than suicidal stupidity.
