An accomplished dentist and the owner of Hallandale Beach Dental in Florida, Raphael Arwas, DDS, offers a full range of dental procedures to patients in the area. Moreover, Dr. Raphael Arwas maintains membership in the South Florida District Dental Association (SFDDA). One of six components of the Florida Dental Association, the SFDDA welcomes volunteers in various capacities. Every year in February, the SFDDA partners with Give Kids a Smile to provide basic dental care to children in need. Volunteers also have the opportunity to educate middle school children about career opportunities in the dental field. In addition to speaking at schools and civic associations on a variety of dental topics, volunteers can treat citizens facing economic challenges through the Florida Baptists’ Mobile Dental Care Project.
