Unethical Executions in October (+ Late September) - Part 1
Yeah, there are a lot of executions scheduled for next month, and four (4!) have claims of innocence. For the sake of this post not being overwhelmingly long, I am separating those 4 potential wrongful convictions into a different post. Here are the rest of executions scheduled in the coming weeks.

Arizona wants to kill Richard Djerf on the 17th, despite the fact that a series of botched executions led them to place a moratorium on the practice in 2022. Governer Katie Hobbs originally said they would conduct a comprehensive review on their execution practices, but reigned on that promise after firing the judge in charge of the investigation, eventually reactivating the death penalty after a much weaker, much less reliable internal review was done.
