regarding the hurricane.

it’s honestly actually insane to me that i live in a country that RAISED their airline tickets and train tickets when a disastrous fucking hurricane is about to kill so many people who could be saved if people would get their heads out of their asses and care about peoples lives over money for two seconds. like wtf is this? what is wrong with people? like i actually can’t wrap my head around this. it’s insanity to me and there’s nothing we can do. i just 🤬🤬

Republicans are refusing to help victims of Hurricane Helene and are already planning to prevent any aid going to Florida once Hurricane Milton hits because if victims get help it would make Biden and Harris look good.

Hi gemstones so hurricane Milton is getting really bad. As a Floridian I wanna make sure my dad and my brother are ok and have enough money. So I wanna try to save enough money cause my dad doesn't get paid for another week.

PLEASE EVACUATE if you are in a mandatory evacuation zone and if there is predicted flooding in your area !! (the flooding will likely be really severe and life threatening in a Lot of areas along the west coast or near water in general) please move more inland anywhere you can, find a list of hurricane shelters near you or i can send some !! pack essentials and Leave Immediately if you havent ! shelters in each county ^^^ click on your specific county to see which are actively open, idk how each county has theirs set up, i just checked mine and a few others. some indicate open shelters, some dont have any open and some dont list the shelters in a way that's easy to find. if you need help finding a shelter near you i can do some digging

STUFF TO BRING (essentials near the top, grab what you have time for prioritize life and safety):

drinkable water (1 gallon per day per person), non-perishable food for several days (can opener if bringing anything canned),

first aid kit supplies, trash bags/shopping bags, duct tape, disinfectant wipes/hand sanitizer, flashlight with batteries, radio if possible, backup options to charge your phone if possible, hygiene products

medication, important documents in plastic ziplock bag or something to protect against water, any child supplies, pet supplies, changes of clothes, sentimental items like photos that cant be replaced (if there is time)
