Interesting ufo house in Pensacola. 👽🛸
Help with temp. rehousing for my cat :(
On Sunday, my boyfriend and I left my parent's house after being kicked out, and are currently living with his mother in the Florida panhandle region. Unfortunately, she does not want our cat to stay in her house long-term.
I have been contacting shelters and foster/ re-homing communities with no success in finding anyone who can take her for 3-months, while my boyfriend and I save up to afford our own place that can accommodate our cat. So this is lowkey my last resort.
Her name is Bibba. She is a 2-year-old, female, domestic shorthair, vaccinated and spayed, and litter box trained. She is incredibly calm and friendly, rarely makes noise aside from the occasional meow, and mostly keeps to herself aside from needing some light enrichment throughout the day. She does not do well directly around dogs and I'm unsure how she would be around other cats, but can be kept separate from them in another room with no issues.
We are immediately looking to temporarily rehouse her for 3-months in the Florida panhandle region: Pensacola, Destin, Crestview, Laurel Hill, Milton, Freeport, Ponce de Leon.
My boyfriend and I would be providing and paying for food, litter, toys, and monthly flea medication, along with any other potential expenses that occur in the 3-month duration. We can also arrange "pet rent", as compensation for the time and effort put into caring for her during that time.
Keep in mind, this is a temporary rehousing/ foster situation, and after the 3-month duration she will be returning with us. No exceptions.
Please contact me if you or anyone you know is able to help us out with this, and don't hesitate to reach out with any questions! <3
