We will be exploring the “mythology” of the magical ointment and its transformation throughout history into the flying salves of medieval witchcraft. We will explore a variety of potential uses for witches’ ointments in magical practice including their correspondences for spellwork. Witches’ ointments are versatile tools that can be applied for a variety of purposes not limited to spirit flight.
