I typically see from 5 - 8 jazz shows a year and I'm guaranteed to see Tim at least once. Last year, I really saw him shine in Pensacola with Vincent Ingala. In a 2013 Smoothviews article, Tim said, I am happy being in the back, out of the limelight but still being a huge part of the show. I think of myself like the center in football where I am in on every play, a vital part of the team, but not in the limelight like the quarterback and receivers. I like it that way and don't think I deserve any extra attention. Sunday’s featured bassist was David Dyson. Bassist David Dyson will have any bass fan left in awe.
