turns out i didn't like the previous idea — so the reasonable solution is to restart :D (don't worry i'll revive xolic as well; possibly as a sibling or archaic language) ((this also means that any previous examples of xolic are now outdated and inaccurate, sorry!))
it's essentially the same thing but with more grammar rules so that I don't mess up
Phonemes are the same, aside from the addition of u /u/ and o /ɔ/
y has been changed into f because i thought that "y" looked ugly (the glyph has also been modified slightly)
Other various changes regarding pronunciation
Some grammar stuff:
- A voiced consonant that is not a nasal may not appear as a coda (the end of a syllable), meaning only the phonemes n, q, c, f, x, k, t, p, and h are "valid".
- the consonant q /ŋ/ should not follow after another consonant
- two consonants of "similar" voice should not be placed next to each other
- xafkic uses SOV word order
- words table vvv
- leading on from words table, consistent suffix markers!
- Suffixes go below a given word and can be written attached or separate to the final consonant
That's about all the noteworthy things; I'll post more things as I go (i'm pretty sure that's what i said last time)
