Floserd Subvariants
I actually didn’t have a drawing for this one, so I just made this XD The rest’ll be older drawings
There are 5 different variants of Floserds. Technically, there’s 4 variants, and 1 subspecies that also has these same 4 variants, but for simple terms we’ll refer to it as 5 Subvariants.
Plain Floserds
Plain Floserds are the most commonly seen type of Floserd, at least in most areas.
Plain Floserds exist in areas that tend to have a more… flexible climate? Like places that are typically warm, but can be colder for winter & warmer for summer. ‘Like most Floserd Variants, they can be both Bipedal & Quadrupedal, just depending on how they feel like walking :3 (also don’t ask about that apostrophe I can’t get rid of it for some reason-)
and while that image says their padding is “soft”, it’s not as soft as Water Floserds, and it’s like… uh… just feel your own hand, that’s probably what their padding feels like? Like not too tough, but not extremely soft (unless you have very soft hands or very tough hands-) (I should’ve just said it’s kinda tough & soft-)
They eat berries, hay, grass, fruits, and leaves, making them herbivores.
2. Tundra Floserds
Tundra Floserds are found in places that are usually snowy, so like Snowy Tundras & Snowy Taigas.
Their fur is typically fluffier than most Floserds, as they need to keep warm!!
Their hooves & horns are also sharper, as they need it to break through ice to access water. They also are more likely to have leaves, to help them store water better & absorb it better :3
They also eat berries & grass & leaves & fruits, but they also have shrubs to eat :3
3. Water Floserds
Water Floserds can be found in any body of water - like rivers & ponds & streams & lakes & oceans - and their size depends on where they’re at (Ocean Floserds tend to be HUGE-)
they have big ears with smaller openings, and they have slitted nostrils, as to make sure they’re not overflown w/ water
They have lil whiskers to help feel around with, and they eat seaweed & kelp
Water Floserds aren’t Bi- nor Quadru-pedal, so they’re just Aquatic :3
4. Desert Floserds
Desert Floserds are one of the shortest Floserd variants (they’re 2nd place for being the shortest), but have some of the toughest hooves & horns for defense & climbing
Their paw pads are tougher & longer for protection from the heat & for climbing
They have big ears to help cool them down, and slitted nostrils to avoid extra sand blowing in or piling in when they bury underground (as they don’t need the extra sand unless they’re low on it. Kinda like blood, if you get what I mean?)
their fur also covers their eyes to avoid sand blowing in. They can see out of it though!
They eat grass when they can find it (and maybe leaves & shrubs if they can too?), and they eat cactus fruit!
5. Parasitic Floserds
Now this is the one that’s technically a subspecies.
Parasitic Floserds are the most aggressive Floserds. They don’t attack actual animals, but they do attack other Floserds.
They can also be some of the other Floserds, so for example Langsi in that image is a Parasitic Plain Floserd, but there can also be Parasitic Tundra Floserds or Parasitic Water Floserds or Parasitic Desert Floserds
their hooves, horns, and fangs are quite sharp, the hooves especially so they can cling onto other Floserds before sinking their fangs into them to absorb their nutrients
They have tougher paw pads for defense, and occasionally some of them have pouches instead of having a blank belly
their hearing & eyesight is also a bit better than most Floserds :3

Water Floserds: it depends on their body of water.
Desert Floserds: 4 ft
