Does anyone else notice the bullying and homophobia Dan and Phil get recently since the hard launch? Does anyone notice that they go for Dan quite a lot? I feel like we need to speak up more.
I really love their content. I feel like they do an amazing job at being role models. They are inclusive of women and not sexist. No, they are more than that, they are feminists. Especially Phil.
They are allies to the trans community. They normalise pronouns and gender subjects so much. They break gender norms. Especially Dan.
They raised money for good causes. They treat people with respect. They even give some of you the benefits of the doubt, by forgiving y'all, after almost making them pay for it with their life and relationship. So in return pay for the damn Patreon.
They have been telling you how to save money with the Patreon. As well as uploading on YT still.
I can't stand seeing comments from outside this community hating them or disrespecting their boundaries. BUT actually people from the PHANDOM?
I can't believe how triggering it must be for them to see stuff like this. Sure, Phil is right it's a small percentage. However, you should be ashamed. One comment can be enough. Especially if you are queer, you should know better. This hasn't been on Tumblr A LOT. So I hope the people here have more sense. But also the fact that Phil went online after their Getty photos update and felt probably sad. Idk. I feel like it's okay to make jokes as long as you add some seriousness at the end, making sure the people are aware it's not laughing about them. Because most of us are happy for them, right?
Speculations about Dan's gender aren't only invasive and triggering BUT also incredibly transphobic, homophobic and sexist. What kind of BS thinking is that anyways? "He wore a skirt, skirts are for girls, he is gay, so he is a women. He is also nice to trans people so he must be one". Like hello???? Dan is what I would call a GOOD person. This is what we want. As a queer feminist girly, we need allies like him and Phil.
The "normal" hate about age, taking up space, being loud, visible and openly queer is also just as bad. Yes, I say hate and bullying because that's what it is. Same with the Patreon complainers. There is nothing constructive in those tweets most of the time. Just a bunch of people who are spoiled.
