he didn't mind the other's intrusion but it was odd for akaashi to find kuroo instead of bokuto. the teenager slowly approached the older, dark hues shifted again the bowl with cereal, then back to the other. watching him eat every bite made––akaashi was done––so there was no point in trying to kick kuroo out of his house at this point. 

the younger sighed and moved to the refrigerator to find something to eat himself.

     kuroo’s thigh isn’t exactly as      soft as their pillows––but there’s     a strong sense of comfort that can     only be reached with time and trust;     and there’s no person kenma trust     more than kuroo.      fingers have long since been threaded     through their coarse with bleach hair,     nails gently scraping against their scalp.     if kenma really were a cat, they’d be purring;      but there’s no sound other than squeaks      and chimes from kenma’s game of anipang.     it’s annoying––anybody else but kuroo     would have told them to shut off the     sound by now. but it is kuroo and he’s      probably long since grown immune to      irritation.      but it doesn’t matter anyways, because     kenma loses and they don’t feel up to     matching threes anymore.      their head tips back, phone flopping      onto their stomach, and they grab the     other’s wrist with one hand, the other      hand straining up so it can curl around      the back of kuroo’s neck. they tug their      friend down, noses clashing together.      kuroo’s skin is warm against their own     and they have to crane their neck even      further––to land a chaste kiss against      kuroo’s lips.      then, they sit up, a ghost of a grin on their     mouth. their phone falls onto their lap,      slipping into the space between their      crossed legs.

oh boy. well, aside from what i already mentioned, him letting you into his personal space (aka room) means that he knows you well enough and you two are close enough.

that’s not hard at all, really. rather, making him feel comfortable is the real challenge. judging him is the quickest, most effective way of getting him completely uneasy.

♡ :Is there a certain scent that brings about nostalgia? If so, describe a memory this scent brings back.

when he was younger, kenma loved his mother’s apple pie. she doesn’t cook it anymore because he doesn’t particularly eat it anymore, but the faint smell of roasted apples mixed with cinnamon remind him of the nights when he’d eat pie while patching up bruises from training with kuroo.

If you were to pick one song — and only one song — to describe your character, what would it be and why?

oh christ uh... I'm not good with this. Hall of Fame by The Script???? I don't know enough music to answer this ;;;;

What are their best school subjects? What are their worst? List five of each.

Bokuto is amazing at P.E., but for the most part classes don't keep his focus enough for him to be good or bad at them. Astronomy can keep his attention, and he does well in classes where hands-on learning is available. He does poor in English and comprehension classes, and math can get a little touch and go. 

Do they prefer romance or affection? What is the quickest way to your character’s heart?

A bit of both. Bokuto loves the idea of romance, of making something special of a day or activity, of doing what he can to charm his partner. At the same time he's a sucker for affection and would rather spend his time cuddling than anything else.

Quickest way to Bokuto's heart is so show that you're interested. He can often ramble on and on forever about nothing, and paying attention and giving him your time is the best way to capture his heart.

Do they have any weird bedroom habits? Any unusual kinks?

I've really only talked this over with aloof-akaashi so ahahaha ;;;;

He has a habit of purposely riling Akaashi up, doing what he can to frustrate Akaashi until the setter takes charge. Though, he'll keep Akaashi from doing anything and just keep making little touches and work at Akaashi's sensitive spots until the other says his name. Besides that, he just has a thing for biting and food play.

ϡ for a childhood headcanon

When Kenma was younger he used to run home from school every afternoon to make sure he didn't miss his favourite cartoon, on the weekends he would even avoid letting people drag him outside when they were on because if he missed one everything would be ruined.

☾ for a sleep headcanon

Kenma sleeps with his knees tucked up into his chest and his teddy bear gripped tightly between his arms. Kenma rarely makes any noise when he's sleeping, except from the times he had nightmares and would wake up panting.

★ for a talent headcanon

There's an arcade five minutes away from Kenma's favourite video game shop, the first time Kenma went in he tried out a Dance Dance Revolution type game and was suspiciously good at it. The manager noticed this and convinced him to try out for one of their "tournaments", he won this and has been hooked on the games ever since.
