Houndification can get so much worse
Warhound has some of by far the worst corruption scenes in terms of twisting people into inhuman monsters. HOWEVER I kept on exploring the genre of mechsploitation and I found a wonderful story called 'Flowerbloom'... In the best way possible: WHAT THE FUCK? It is very extreme with how it handles the wider themes of mechsploitation. Oh and then I read Pox gestation on Spacebattles by ThirtyRavensInAManSuit. I feel I am a colleague of his in a way - I wrote a 30k word fic in a fic setting he made - and thus I have been paying attention to his work. AND BY THE GOLDEN THRONE OF TERRA, THE BOOTS OF HANDLER HERSELF AND THE 7 SEALS OF ARMAGEDON WHAT THE FUCK?????? The introduction to Pox gestation is dark. It's evil and disgusting and so much worse than even Flowerbloom. I love it and I hope that both authors are successful. But yeah the corruption of main characters in Warhound was surprisingly not the most extreme example in fanfics.
