Celebrating Flowerfan, who posted her 200th fanfic today on A03

The 200th is Aversion, a Schitt’s Creek Season 5 coda fic.

As her friend and beta, I absolutely admit to a certain amount of bias here, but I do think that some milestones are worth cheering about. @flowerfan2 has written for seven fandoms; Glee (131), Hawaii Five-0 (25*), Check Please (16), MCU (14), Good Omens (7*), Sherlock (3), and Schitt’s Creek (5 with more to come!). *Includes a Good Omens/Hawaii Five-0 crossover, so AO3 only counts it once.

@flowerfan2’s first Glee fic went up on AO3 and Tumblr in late 2013. She’s been a prolific writer ever since. The first fic I read was one of her most popular, Here Comes The Sun, which she posted in 2014. I loved it and started leaving her comments on AO3. She replied, and before too long, we moved our conversations off-line and began exchanging emails.  Then she asked me to be her beta. A year later, she encouraged me to write my very first fanfic, Sweet Dreamers. What began with her fics and our mutual admiration for Darren Criss just took off from there. Our friendship has only grown with the passage of time.

It’s such a boost for writers when their fans encourage them, so I hope you’ll consider leaving a comment, tag her, reblog, and/or send her a congratulatory message. It’ll make her day!
