/she walks up to you "Good morning milady. Thank you for following me."
Yayoi blinks a little but nods. "Good morning. You're welcome, but, who are you? I'm Yayoi."
I'm sorry for my troubles and letting you write a really long explanation on snow *giggles* That really helped, thank you. *smiles*
*laughs* It’s no problem at all. I’m glad it helped. I want everyone to at least understand snow, even if they never see it.
If you ever come far enough north to see snow during the time of year that I’m up here, I’ll make sure to make it snow just for you, okay?
Sorry to confuse you.I never felt snow before that's why i asked you what it felt like.I feel embarrassed.I'm truly sorry.
Don’t feel embarrassed. I’m sorry you’ve never felt snow before. I wish I could bring it to you and show you personally what snow feels like, because it’s hard to describe. And it makes me sad to realize there are people who don’t fully understand what I do. But I’ll try to describe it anyway. :)
Have you ever stepped into a walk-in freezer? That’s about what it feels like to go walking around outside in the winter. When exposed to it for a long time, one needs to bundle up in warm things to avoid getting hurt by the cold. (Unfortunately. I acknowledge this is true.) If you’ve never had the chance to step into a walk-in freezer, try to imagine what it would be like if the chill from your little freezer surrounded your entire body. That’s close to the feeling of winter in general.
Now… snow itself… Have you ever eaten a snow cone? If it was shaved ice rather than crushed ice, the texture of that is relatively close to what snow is, though snow is a bit lighter and fluffier when it’s first fallen. Granted, it tends to melt and refreeze into a harder substance, or melt and slosh around or do all manner of weird things, but the texture of a snow cone will give you will give you the general idea of what packed snow feels like. That’s about like what a snowball is.
Snow that’s just fallen is more similar to the ice just after it was shaved and before it can be packed into the cone, so it’s still fluffy and full of air.
It’s cold to the touch and melts as soon as you touch it, though if you hold a lot of snow, you can’t melt all of it before your fingers get really cold and red from it. *chuckles*
I hope that helped a little. If some of my descriptions make no sense to you due to your country of origin, I apologize. Just write back and let me know and I’ll try again. I do want you to at least understand what snow is like, even if I can’t bring it to you. It’s the least I can do. :)
And now…
Have a snowball!
J-Jack? What does snow f-feel like? *smiles*
*coughs* What does snow feel like? That’s a rather unexpected question. Have you never touched snow before? Or are you asking me what it feels like to create snow?
*chuckles* Feel free to ask your question again in a way I can understand, and I’ll happily answer it.
