He nods sympathetically, he can understand seeking out solitude when one has a bad headache. He used to lock himself in his greenhouse for much the same reason, he loves the other Villagers but gosh the neighbor kids can be loud. He shakes the thought away, adjusting his grip on the umbrella as Memory taps it.
“Oh I’m fine. My fur is water resistant so the most that will get drenched is my bandana and belt.”
He gestures to the bandana around his neck then the belt around his hips with his free hand, which are indeed looking water soaked already. He smiles happily, toe claws scraping against the ground as he keeps himself steady on his toes in the wet. His tail twists side to side, unable to actually wag due to the thick base. Suddenly her comment on having a headache, or well... burning head, catches up to him and he flushes a little.
“Oh I am so sorry, do you want to be left alone.?” his tail stills behind him, feeling a bit ashamed he’s still bothering her.
Sorrel squints up at the sky as storm clouds roll in. He quickly scampers over to his Greenhouse to make sure the door is safely locked up before the storm hits, not wanting the door to be slammed open by any winds they might get in addition to the rain they are definitely getting. He slows down in front of the greehouse, slightly outside the rest of the village. He locks up the door glancing in at the plants within which should be safe in their glass enclosure. He made sure when it was built there were no trees close enough to fall on the structure since it needed to be made mostly out of glass.
He hums nodding satisfied with the securely locked door, turning to try and rush back towards his home before the rain hit. Unfortunately mother nature had other ideas, with a clap of thunder the rain very suddenly began to pour. He grimaces but thanks his waterproof fur for coming in handy. His third eyelid quickly coming over to cover his eyes so he can see despite the rain in his eyes.
He speeds up his run, eyes scanning the area watching others rush to get home before their fur is soaked. Thankfully so far it seems most people are close to their homes or already inside out of this nasty weather. He rounds a corner towards his home, eyes still alert for anyone that’s having trouble navigating the downpour, or the rare tourist in town that wouldn’t have anywhere to go in this sudden storm.
Care instructions for Sorrel: leave near plants/Chao, make sure they have plenty of water and rings. || Care instructions for Amato/Loup: use kind words, make sure Amato is with Loup and vice versa.- Do not make any comments about the war.
Sorrel covers his beak embarrassed.
“Am I really that easy? ... I am.. Oh Great Mother I am...”
He ducks his head laughing a little. Continuing to try and cover his beak to hide his blushing.

Amato pauses listening as Loup reads out the care instructions someone left for them. They give Loup an amused look signing quickly,
“They are not wrong.”
Loup snorts leaning into Amato’s side
“They forgot you need an endless supply of candy~” he teases nuzzling his best friend.
“Heeeeeee... Leannnn me-. Ih su'h'ort -ou.” [From Wall-E of musingorder, towards Sorrel if that's alright. ^^]

Sorrel looks at the boxy robot, weighing his fear of them with the pain searing through his leg. Eventually the need to get weight off his leg wins and he leans against the bot, Eggman wouldn’t let a bot run around with a malfunctioning voicebox. He has too much pride in his creations to send them out as anything less than completely functional. And the Heroes wouldn’t let a dangerous bot run around half broken.
“Th-thank you.” he offers hesitantly. “Help me... get over there?”
He gestures towards his little shop, it’s not much but it will give them somewhere to stop and access his injuries without sitting down in the middle of the road. It will also be far, far closer than trying to limp all the way home. Not to mention it won’t bring a ‘bot staight to his place of residence.
“Do you... have a name?” he grimaces, whether from the pain or the attempt to make small talk with the bot he’s not sure.

Chrometophobia: My muse helps yours out of a financial crisis, or vice-versa. [Memory and Sorrel, me thinks?]
@circuitryandflesh
Sorrel doesn’t even notice Memory arriving, he’s too focused looking through the papers on his kitchen table, beak moving as he mouths the words on each page. He adds them up silently, flips through the papers again silenting adding them up again and again hoping against all truth he’s simply fudged the math along the way.
When had rent on the shop gotten so high? Sure it was off season and his greenhouse was still in shambles so the on season hadn’t been great but… but rent was never this bad before right?
“Something wrong?”
Sorrel about jumps out of his fur when Memory finally speaks. He spins to look up at her. Her face is carefully neutral. He hopes briefly she hadn’t read the bills over his shoulder, putting on a fake smile.
“No everything’s okay. Just uh…”
Okay yeah no lying isn’t going to work, from the look on her face she had already read the big angry red letters about how much he owed. He wouldn’t be sitting here frantically reading the papers over and over if he had the money they were requesting so she probably already put the pieces together.
“It’ll be fine. Worst thing that will happen is I’ll lose the storefront. I can just set up a stall like I had in the beginning. Build up some savings again by not needing to pay for anything more than a permit to sell in the city.”
He turns his back to Memory looking down at the papers, not wanting to risk getting a pitying look. He has no intentions of asking someone to bail him out of this. It’s no one’s problem but his own, it’s his shop after all. He was always very careful with his money, kept decent savings which kept him above water until now. The payments were due now, but if only he could bide his time until Spring there was always a rush of business then…
He must have mumbled that last part out loud because Memory put something on the table.
“Spring’s just another month away, right? Here.”
He focuses on the something realizing it’s money quickly he tries to hand it back to her, he can’t accept this. But Memory had used one of her ground bridges and fled back to her own realm calling over her shoulder.
“Pay me back later if it matters that much to you.”
