Speaking as a dad, we will tell our children the truth even if it’s uncomfortable. Let your friends tell you “oh you look fine, you don’t look fat, you’re beautiful”. Dads will cut through the bull and tell you what other people are thinking but won’t say. Be glad for that

Congrats you somehow made your way through the fatshaming tag far enough to reach January of this year to comment on this post. Fun fact: I don’t give a fuck if I look fat, my problem was with my dad apparently caring so much about me being fat that he made it an issue. Hope you can be nice to your kids, they deserve a dad who’s kind and supports them whatever they look like.

I've checked on my family in the area, and they're closer to MS, inland out of the "red zone". Please check on your folks! @Regran_ed from @jarard_j - Here is the latest real time update on #hurricanemichael for you. Ok last night, i told you that by the time you woke up this morning, it was going to be a category 4 storm. And what do we have?? A category 4 hurricane 🤷🏾‍♂️. In fact, it’s only 10 mph wind speed away from being a category 5, which is the highest category. Listen all of the cool “weather guy” talk is out the window right now. Let me talk to you as a concerned brotha of yours. If you have people in this storm’s path, and they are being stubborn, you need to tell them they have about an hour to get the hell out of the way of this thing. This storm IS going to cause catastrophic damage! There is no “maybe” or “what if”. The winds alone (at 145 mph right now) are strong enough to take the roof completely off a house, flip over cars, and uproot large trees. The wind will take objects and turn them into projectiles. To put it in perspective, 145 mph wind is strong enough to take a common paper straw that you drink out of...and throw it right clean thru a human body. And that’s just the wind, which is not the most deadly part of a hurricane. The storm surge is going to bring massive flooding, in walls of water up to 13 feet high! That’s enough to wipe out the entire ocean front, and virtually re-shape the coast. Call your people that are frontin like they wild immortal and tell them to get out now. It’s going to be too late within a couple of hours. I hope i put this in a perspective that you can feel. Bottom line...this will be the strongest hurricane to EVER hit the Florida pan handle.
