Listening to music with the Darksiders
Fury doesn’t care much for human tunes. Or so she claims. One day you two got silly together and danced around to Beyonce’s old hits. No one shakes their considerable booty to “Crazy In Love” like Fury does. You are not allowed to talk about this.
Strife displays vivid interest in every facet of our culture; that’s just how he is. He’s always the king of the dancefloor and proud of it. He fell in love with rock music lately - any rock music really, as long as it’s properly rockin’ and not ballads. Ballads put him to sleep. His favourite might be early-to-late nineties Faith No More though; he enjoys the richness of the sound and the aggressive wackiness of the lyrics. (“It’s always funny until someone gets hurt and than it’s just HILARIOUS!” sounds like something he would say, after all.) You had to ask him to stop belting out “Iiit’s a MIIID LIIIFEEE CRIIISIS!” at Death at any occasion. He still does it from time to time.
War is not a very musical creature - or rather, he’s not great at expressing how music makes him feel. That said, metal blasting full volume makes his blue eyes go big and dreamy. Sometimes he’s even flushing a little. Like, every time you put on “Boleskine House” by Triptykon he is all like: “Play this one again.”
Death straight off refused to listen to anything from your vast record collection. “These songs weren’t meant for me” he would say dryly. You had to remind him that you weren’t meant for him either. “Very well” he said, lying on his back and stubbornly watching the ceiling. “Give me one song. Just one, and that we can be done with this nonsense.”
You knew that you have just this one shot.
You played him “All Blues” from Kind Of Blue by Miles Davis and Coltrane.
He just lied there and listened, motionless. Finally, he breathed: “That was...excellent.”
“You know, people used to say that this album was made in Heaven” you can’t help but smile. Old Miles has weaved his magic over him.
“Rubbish. Angels can’t create anything, less anything that good.”
You chuckle.
“Little one.”
“Yes, Death?”
“Can you play me the rest of the record?”

@1w1wbigher06fan Fangs had seemed perkier than usual since Jazz had come to Earth. She spent quite a bit a time with the mech. She even had forgiven Bumblebee...without hurting him. Which was unusual for a femme who was raised by IronHide. She hummed softly as she went to the command centre to hand fixit a report of her patrol, she walked straight past Optimus with her recently perkier attitude.
