The bunny medical Ordeal continues, as Bramble is having her 4th surgery in a week, because she can’t leave her fucking incision alone. We are going to try putting a cone on her, which you don’t normally do with rabbits because they won’t eat with one on. She’s been eating like a horse through this entire thing, though, so hopefully she is food motivated enough to overcome that. Otherwise I will be syringe feeding her.

I have taken to calling her Problem Rabbit.

The fluffbeasts are home from being spayed, and recovering nicely. It turns out my cousin is not great at sexing rabbits, because they are both girls. Unspayed and unbred females have a really high risk of reproductive cancer though, so I’m glad I got it done even if babies wouldn’t have been a concern.

Took the fluffbeasts to the vet today to be spayed and neutered, because baby bunnies are adorable but I don’t want any. So now I am going to fret until I hear they’ve made it through surgery OK.
