He looks silly here, but we are sharing the sunlight on the balcony and it is bliss. Listening to the crickets, birds, and random critter noises out in the bright morn is quite delightful. I enjoy slow starts to the day and taking time to wake up to the world around me opening its eyes for the day. Perhaps some of them up since before dawn, absolutely beautiful to take in. The breath of the fresh air, wind blowing gently through the pines and oaks... all of the fluttering things throughout the field. ... Take time to see, really look. Hear, and really listen. Feel nature around you expanding and growing with life, bugs crawling on the ground, spiders lurking in the corner, worms in the soil... these are beautiful beautiful creatures that create life and food for other magnificent creatures. Watching it all take place around me in such complex simplicity, it is magical...
