— prompt : gentle kiss @fluffuly2022 + "quick, kiss me!" (x)
— pairings : Sirius Black x Reader (Established Relationship)
You're pulled out of your studies at the sound of quick foot-steps approaching you. You lift your head just in time to see Sirius running over to you, grabbing your hands in his.
"Quick, kiss me!" He says rapidly, a grin dancing across his sharp features. You blink at him in confusion, his sudden demand not fully processing in your brain yet.
Your brain finally catches up, and you plant a soft kiss on his lips. Sirius smiles at you as you lean back from his lips, tilting your head in a questioning manner.
"What was all that about?"
His grin returns in full swing as he rests his hands on your hips, pulling you close, and kissing you again, "Just missed you."
You can't help the butterflies that set off in your stomach at his adorable antics, a warmth filling your heart as you gaze into his adoring eyes.
It’s that time of the year again; the time I give all of you wonderful writers a month-long rundown of fluffy prompts! They range from regular and dialogue so there’s something for everyone. If none of the daily prompts on the lists manage to grab your imagination, there’s a list of alternate prompts which are free to use for any day and are there for your interpretation.
The event will start on July 1st and finish on July 31st. But of course, if you can’t complete it in that time, there isn’t a hardcore limit. Create when you can. No rush!
This is a mixed media event so you can do anything that works with the prompt: fanfiction, art, gifs, etc. You can mix prompts too! If you have any concerns or questions, just ask!
Please remember to tag each post with #fluffuly and #fluffuly2022. Have fun and let’s have an amazing month! :D

"It was so small and it was just sitting in the middle of the road!" Robin explains, the two of you sit on the floor of her bedroom, hands intertwined as Robin's waves her - and subsequently your - hands around as she tells you about the other day.
"So of course I wasn’t about to let us just drive away because I knew that we wouldn't run it over, but what if someone else did? I would actually like, burst into tears if someone did, Y/N," She looks at you solemnly, her brows knitting together, "I would not be able to live with that kind of guilt."
You nod your head, "Same, that's the kinda guilt that eats away at you."
Robin's eyes light up at your agreement, "Yeah! Exactly! So like, of course i couldn't let Steve just drive us away because surely the next person to drive down that road wouldn't be as merciful as us. So I got him to pull over - he looked very tired but I knew that he knew that I knew that he knew that what we were doing was the right thing to do."
You nod as your gaze holds on Robin, "I mean yeah, duh, of course. I'd like to think that he wouldn't just let a bunny rabbit die."
Robin nods back at you, "Yeah he wouldn't, so of course he pulled over, otherwise i probably would have, like, hijacked the car."
You continue listening intently as you pull one of her hands into your lap to fidget with, the feeling of her hand resting in yours causing the lovesick smile on your face to grow warmer.
"Luckily, the bunny was like right at the middle of, yknow that long road near the weird tree? like the one with the little t-rex arms?" She mimics the short arm-like branches, but in the process pulls her hand away from you, causing you to pout.
"But yeah it was the road on the corner of that tree so it was- are you okay?" She notices your pout, frowning with worry as soon as she notices your sad eyes.
"Your hand, Robs."
For a moment she sits next to you, eyebrows softly furrowed in confusion, when suddenly her eyes widen in a moment of understanding.
"Oh! Babe, I'm sorry, here," She smiles at you as she rests her hand back in yours, a heat growing on her face as you smile back at her.
"So," You say, back to playing with her fingers lovingly, "What happened next?"
Her eyes grin at you lovingly, and her talkative spark is reignited, smiling at you as she continues the story.
"So Steve was looking at me like 'Robin please don't just walk out in the middle of the road', but of course I didn't give him time to stop me..."
You're sat with your back against a tall tree, giving you a view of all your friends who are scattered around the playground in front of you.
Most of the younger kids are trying to play on the equipment that's years-too-small for them, save for Max and El who seem to be whispering about something incredibly funny as they point out things to eachother, giggling mischievously.
In your lap sits a sketchbook you've had for a few months, which is mostly filled with pictures of your friends, fictional flora and fauna (including the chicken-scratch drawings of demogorgons and other upside-down creatures of horror that you'd drawn after waking with a start from various nightmares), or your girlfriend.
Squinting your eyes, you survey the park in front of you, searching for your girlfriend whom you're sure you'd had eyes on a few moments ago, as you had been drawing her happy smile that she wore as she grinned at Steve's comedic antics.
You hear sound of a branch breaking, shortly followed by a blurry figure hitting the ground to your left. Before you have a chance to recognise what - or who - it is, they're groaning and quickly getting up.
Now you can recognise who it is, your previously disappeared girlfriend, Robin.
She tries to grin at you, but a wince of pain gives her away as she rubs the back of her head, "Hi."
You can't help but laugh in disbelief, "Hi."
The two of you remain in silence for a moment, until her demeanour completely changes at the sight of your sketchbook, she quickly sits down next to you and reaches for the sketchbook with a curious twinkle in her eyes, she's always loved everything you draw.
You cant help but be a bit worried about any possible injuries she may be sporting after literally falling out of a tree, "Are you oka-"
"Oh my god Y/N!," Robin gasps joyfully as she looks at your drawing, a half finished sketch of her, "This is so good."
You can't help but feel your face heat up at her compliment, averting your eyes as your heart warms.
Something flickers in Robin's eyes, and suddenly she's standing up, grinning even wider at you.
"I'm gonna go tell Steve I fell out of a tree and show him this huge bruise on my arm, can you draw his reaction babe? I swear it'll be so funny."
You can't help but laugh with her, but your amusement doesn't stop you from agreeing with a nod of your head. It's not your fault, you can't say no to her when she looks so pretty and happy and excited.
Robin pumps her fist in celebration, and runs off to Steve, throwing you a quick thumbs up and wink before she gets his attention.
Warm rays of sunlight peaked through the edges of the closed curtains, casting an angelic light across the sleeping couple.
The blanket - that at the start of the night lay neatly on top of them - now hung halfway off the bed. Both Y/N's and Sirius' limbs twisted around and out of the blanket, and sat in seemingly the most awkward positions, hands reaching above their heads towards the bed-head, tucked under the others body in an effort to pull them closer, or even just thrown off the edge of the bed.
Even though their bodies seemed to bend every-which-way, they were still sleepily clinging to each-other. Y/N's head rested on Sirius' chest, rising and falling has he breathed. His arm had a loving grip around their back, keeping them as close to him as possible.
The sun continued to rise, the brightness of day becoming more and more prominent as the light bleed strongly into the room. But even though the birds of early morning called them to wake, the couple remained in each-other's arms, sleeping peacefully. Dreams serenaded by the soft breaths of their love, and the comfort of knowing that they were safe in each-other's arms.
lily, who only likes baking small things like cookies and cupcakes, bakes something bigger with reader
"No wait, surely that's a bit too much!" Lily's voice calls out as she turns from what she was concentrating on to face you.
You're both working on a three layered cake for all of your friends' (plus yours and Lily's) Hogwarts graduation. Sure, it occurred to you guys that you could use some spell to conjure up a cake in the blink of an eye, but this was a big occasion, and it felt important to you that you make the cake yourselves.
You laugh softly at her worried gaze as she watches over your actions of making the batter.
"Trust me Lils, it's fine, this is a really big cake, remember?"
You can see the war that's raging in Lily's head, she knows in the logical part of her brain that you're using the right amount, but in the other half, she's so used to baking small treats like cookies or cupcakes, so it feels wrong to bake anything with such a large amount of ingredients.
She sighs, "I know," dragging out the 'o' in exasperation.
You kiss her on the cheek as she turns back to where she's making the icing for the cake.

The batter makes a gross squelching sound as it drops into the tin, making you grimace. It's been maybe half an hour since you and Lily have started baking this cake, and now it's finally time to put the batter in the oven, and wait.
You grab oven mitts, slotting the full cake tins in one-by-one, closing the oven door as you rub your forehead, baking is more tiring than it looks.
You turn around to see a hopeful looking Lily gazing conflictingly at the left-over batter.
You smile adoringly at her, knowing exactly what she wants to do, "Lils of course you can make cupcakes."
At this, her whole demeanour lights up and she's practically bouncing her way to the kitchen counter, grinning at you as she says, "Love you."
You mirror her grin, wrapping your arms around her waist, "Well, I can't say no, your baking always tastes unbelievably good," you plant a kiss on her nose. Your heart warms as you hear her let out a soft giggle, resting one of her hands atop yours.
Amy rests on your chest, her head rising and falling as you breath. One of your arms are wrapped around her torso, holding her close as you lie together, while the other gently cards through her soft hair.
Your voices are soft as you talk about whatever comes to mind, the conversation dancing across topics such as Amy's family, your favourite time of day, her favourite colours (which are any of the ones you tend to wear frequently), or your favourite memories (you stand by the fact that it's the day you met her, and hers is one when she was equal and loved in the eyes of her sisters).
Eventually, the conversation seems to drift to heavier topics, from the time Amy fell in the lake, and how it terrified her to the bone, to your shared fear of the outside world. For now, there's still an air of comfort in the air, no matter the past, you and Amy are lying together in each-others arms.
But the energy in the room shifts, and you can tell Amy is thinking about something that upsets her, in a way you have only caught glimpses of in the past.
"Y/N," Her eyes peer up at your face, "If... if there were someone prettier, smarter, more successful than I, someone braver than I, would you choose them over me?"
Your face falls into a frown, your hand halting it's actions in Amy's hair as you look down at her face, which holds an unreadable expression.
"What do you mean, Amy?"
Amy sighs, burying her head in the crook of your neck to avoid eye contact.
"What I mean is, there's plenty others girls... ones with far more success than I."
Your heart breaks a little as you finally catch on to what Amy's getting at.
"Hey, no," Your hands go back to playing with her hair and rubbing her back in an attempt to comfort her, "I would never choose anyone over you."
You feel Amy nod, followed by the sound of her sniffling and the feeling of teardrops dropping onto your chest.
You try not to cry with her as you hold her impossibly closer, whispering softly to her about everything you love about her, lulling her into sleep, and it's not long until you fall asleep too, to only the sounds of Amy's soft breaths and rising and falling chest against yours.
It crosses your mind that this conversation clearly isn't over and that Amy will need more reassurances, but for now, you lay in eachother's arms, calm and in love.
You take a deep breath as tendrils of tiredness tempt you closer and closer to sleep. Before your let yourself fall into slumber, you whisper one last thing to your love.
“I could never settle for anyone else, Amy, you’re my one and only.”
