“theo, you know how bad those are for you right?” you muttered, waving a smoke cloud out of your face.

tobacco and unspoken words hung heavy in the crisp november air of the night. students asleep in their dormitories, you loved being alone with theo. no one else, just the two of you.

“yeah, ‘s too late now” he replied, blowing another puff of smoke into the air. you leaned against the cold cobblestone wall, looking at the boys side profile.

his legs hung loose and carefree over the thick stone railing, his head tilted up to release the smoke. “what do you mean, ‘too late’?” you question.

“it’s just, if it’s so bad f’me and i’ve already smoked so much, might as well just keep going” theo tried to explain his point of view. you’re lost, the words don’t make sense.

“do you want a hit?” he offers the burning cigarette to you, shifting his body to face yours. “i’m okay.” you shrug him off. “are you too scared?” theo teases, a smirk playing on his face as he takes another drag of smoke.

“no, i just have common sense and i know that stuff is bad for you.”

“you’re a fucking nerd, y’know that?”

“i’m serious theo! it’s high risk with no reward, honestly.” you tell him, trying to convince him to stop. you never liked cigarettes, the smell bothered you and to you, the concept was stupid.

suck in a puff of smoke, breath it out, repeat it, get addicted, then your health gets bad. you knew theo smoked a lot, for some reason it bugged you more than it should.

“they’re my fuckin’ lungs” he murmured under his breath as a cloud of smoke poured from the man’s lips. “i’m sorry i care.” a twang of annoyance riddled beneath your tongue.

“fine.” he says after a small delay. you watch theo toss his beloved cigarette off the astronomy tower, reaching into his pocket to grab something.

“here,” he hands you a pack of malboro lights. “take these. don’t give me one no matter how many times i ask.” you hesitate reaching out your hand.

“theo if you want to smoke, just smoke.”

“no, keep them.” he directs, hastily shoving them in your hands. “i don’t want them.” you try to give them back to him, watching as his body language closes off.

“throw them away, use them, give them to mattheo, i don’t care what you do with them! just don’t let me have one.” a pause of silence passes before you speak up again.

“theo, don’t be—“

“stop. i told you what to do, it’s for my health, or whatever you say.” he cuts you off, now fully facing you. “i… okay.” you sigh, pocketing the beat up pack.

“you sure theo? your cigarettes? i mean, you’ve been smoking since you were like what? fifteen? i just—“ your words get lost as you notice theo inching closer to you. shifting his weight on his hands until he’s a few inches away from your face.

next thing you know, his hands are in your hair and his lips are on yours. the faint taste of tobacco lingers on theo’s tongue, he hoped it didn’t change anything about the kiss.

he guided his tongue to your lips, entering your mouth as he shifted even closer. you kissed back passionately, holding his neck closer.

theo was supposed to be ‘just a friend’, but you always wondered what would happen if you kissed him randomly. well, it’s happening.

after a few seconds of theo’s tongue prodding your mouth, you pull away to catch your breath.

“that’s, uhm—“

“i’m sorry, i just—“

“cara mia, i can only handle one addiction at a time.” he says, voice barely above a whisper.

‘★ college!mike w. x reader ⸝⸝⸝ blurb , fluff !

mike helps relieve your aching back with a few tricks he sees online

Mike’s hands slid up your bare back, his palms digging into your spine with the most pressure he could before you wince and jerk your foot into him blindly.

“Ow! What happened to using the safe word?” He cries out, his arm flying over his stomach with a groan.

“Sorry—! I told you, not too hard, mike…” You grumble into your pillow, lifting your head to catch a glimpse of his pitiful display.

“Okay, well, that clearly doesn’t work.” He murmurs, more to himself than you. He’s been trying to relive your everlasting pain for ages. All you seemed to do was complain about how the mattress was too hard, or how all his furniture lacked comfort (which was not true, he spent hours at home goods finding chairs with enough plush) or how you felt like someone was gnawing at your spine.

So he took matters into his own hands and ventured into the world wide web to find a solution for his weary girlfriend. So far, he’d only tried a trick he’s seen on TikTok— the traditional massage (unfortunately with no lotion, he couldn’t find any so he went with some vaseline, which only left your back disgustingly sticky.) Even then, that did nothing for relief, in fact, you were beginning to feel a painful throb in your lower back.

“How about the one with the cups?” He suggests, already looking around for some.

You give him a soft kick. “Mike, we’re not doing the cupping— it already sounds like some weird kink thing, no.”

He rubs a hand over the side of his face, scrolling through google from his prior search. You lay beside him, face first against the pillow, groaning every other second to remind him of your agonizing pain to which he’d give a soft pat to your back.

“Mm.. yoga, heat therapy, swimming..” He murmurs as he reads, brows crinkled as he focuses. “ooh, this looks like it’ll work.” He perks up and scrolls, “Let’s do that. Here, lay over here, baby.” He loosely guides you by your hips over to where he was sat, his forearm pressing itself against your lumbar area— gently at first as he gages your reaction, a crinkle in your nose was enough for him to loosen.

“God, wait, yeah.” You murmur against your arm, which had propped your chin up to get a view. “Higher.” You close your eyes as you feel the knots in your muscle begin to loosen just a smidge, enough to give you a second of relief.

Mike smiles to himself like he’d reached a feat once impossible. He rolls his elbow slightly, arm angling against your mid-back. “I can get a hot towel too. Some guy on reddit said it worked on his wife.”

“That sounds amazing.” You say drowsily, nodding. He gives your shoulder a kiss and continues his ministrations, the Vaseline he’d lathered onto your skin before was beginning to get on his arms, he powered through with a grimace.

A few minutes later, he had a warm hand towel splayed over your back while he gave your shoulders a haphazard massage. (He wasn’t experienced, you felt too bad to tell him to stop.)

“You feel any better?” He asked while his fingers dug into your heavily knotted skin.

“As best as i’ll get.” You hum, looking at him through your arms a the mess of the pillows. “Thank you.”

“‘course. this is more of a massage for me, anyways. i started getting carpal tunnel after twelve hours on my laptop. God, what a pain.”

“Wow.”

“Not that I didn’t do it for you too—! I obviously meant, like, you know.. You’re in much greater pain! Women go through the worst of the—“

“Just shut up and keep massaging, mike.”

“Okay, love you.”

He goes quiet for a second.

“And I feel like I should also point out that I think period cramps are worst than getting kicked in the balls, I’m all for backing that up even if i—“

“Mike, shut up!”

Summary: Little blurb about braiding Pelle's hair based on a request

You'd been in the meadow all morning.

Pelle hadn't slept and when you'd briefly woken up to pee, you somehow found yourself being led outside by the hand, still in your pyjamas.

You didn't mind all that much, especially when you got to sit and watch the sunrise in your favourite spot.

He usually brought a sketchpad or even just some pens, and the two of you would pass them back and fourth, either drawing on paper or each other's skin. But, in his haste to get out of his stuffy room, he hadn't even slowed to grab shoes.

You'd been muttering softly to one another for hours and Pelle wound up sprawled out in the grass with his head in your lap, and you were combing through his hair gently with your fingers.

Every so often, you let your nails lightly scratch his scalp and he'd hum contently.

His eyes were shut, and for the first time in a long time, he looked completely at peace.

You couldn't resist braiding a few strands, weaving little wildflowers into them.

He didn't even have to look to know what you were up to.

"Not the flowers, Hjärtat" He groaned so softly that it sounded more like a moan. "They're not evil."

"I think they're very evil." You muttered, biting back a little smile. "Who's gonna see?"

Pelle cracked his eyes open and squinted at you.

"It's just me!" You laughed "I promise I'll take them out before we go back up to the house."

"You won't forget?" He tried to look suspicious, but you could see he wanted to smile "Like last time?"

"I didn't forget last time, my love. You did." you reminded him. "You fell asleep."

"Hjärtat." He huffed, nudging your hand with his head like a cat begging to be scratched behind its ears.

"I promise." you massaged his scalp gently until his eyes fluttered back shut and his breathing evened out.

Little Miss Tutor

A/N: Hey hey! I haven't been around for awhile, mostly because I've been doing a deep clean of everything I own. Some early spring cleaning, if you will. But this idea actually came from a journal I used to write in when I was in high school (which makes the journal easily a decade old... no comment.) and as I saw this concept written in there, I thought this was so perfectly Eddie. I hope you enjoy it! It's just some fluff, friends to lovers stuff. For the record - I believe Eddie and reader are both in early-to-mid twenties here. R has already been out of college, so they're not college roommates. Just normal roommates, and Eddie is also trying to get himself through college while he works his job. Not necessarily relevant to the actual story, but there's some lore that stays stuck in my brain LOL. I'm the queen of backstories, no matter how short the blurb. - Hy

Summary: You’re roommates with Eddie and he's trying to get through college years later than most students. You’re also secretly deeply in love with him. But that feels inappropriate to share.

Warnings: uhhh... none I can think of. This is just a fluffy blurb.

It was late at night, maybe 2 in the morning, when you woke up cold and thirsty. You pulled on a pair of your fuzziest socks before padding down the steps into the kitchen for a glass of water. You were so exhausted and set on getting your water that you missed the wide open bedroom door on your way down, but not so exhausted that you missed it on your way back to your room. You peered in to find your roommate Eddie awake at his desk, hair disheveled and in his favorite pajamas.

“Eddie?” You whispered, shuffling into the room. “What the hell are you doing still up?”

His head snapped up and he swiveled around in his desk chair. “Hey, sweetheart,” he gave you a sleepy smile, “I’m just finishing up, actually. Was going through my notes for tomorrow. What are you doing up?”

You couldn’t answer him because of the breath caught in your throat. Sure, you’d always liked the guy, but in his baggy old pajamas, mussed up curls, and sleepy voice, it was taking all of your self control not to give your crush away by throwing your arms around him and kissing him right then and there. It was only when he cocked an eyebrow and called your name that you came back to life and answered him. 

“Sorry,” you snapped out of your trance with a blush, “I’m just going back to my room, I was getting a glass of water.” You put a hand on your hip and pursed your lips, “you need to get some rest, Eddie.” 

The boy ran a hand through his hair, only messing it up further. “Yeah, I know. But I really need to pass this exam tomorrow.”

“You’ve been studying for days, hon. Besides, what have I told you before?” You asked him with playful lilt in your voice, and he groaned. 

“‘Your brain doesn’t store information properly if you don’t get a good night’s sleep,’” he quoted with a groan and a deep sigh, before he stood and stretched. You were still looking at him like a mother scolding their small child, which made him chuckle. “Yeah, yeah, little miss tutor.”

“Excuse me if I happen to know what I’m talking about,” you pouted. 

“Sure,” he nodded, casually striding past you to close the door, flicking the lights off. You gave him a confused look in the darkness, before he approached you and swiftly threw you over his shoulder. You let out an indignant squeak, but tried to keep from blushing too hard despite the darkness. 

“Edward Munson! Just what do you think you’re doing!” You asked him, smacking his back lightly.

“You’re the expert, right?” He tossed you down onto his bed, “then help me sleep.”

You were never more grateful for the darkness, as it masked your wide eyes and deep crimson cheeks. 

“Um- o-okay?” You managed. He got under the covers next to you, and just turned to face you. You stared back at him, heart pounding.

“So,” he started, but was cut off by a yawn, “what do you suggest? For the best night of sleep, I mean.”

“I-I-” he’d caught you so off guard, you barely knew your own name, much less how to help him sleep. “I don’t know.”

“Mkay,” he hummed, “then I’ll try my own way.” He put an arm around your waist and pulled you against his chest, tangling his legs with yours. “I’m gonna take a guess and say that like this, I’ll get an amazing night’s sleep.” 

Despite your nerves, you seemed to relax at the proximity, allowing yourself to melt into his embrace. “I know I will,” you mumbled. He smiled to himself, and by the time you’d fully gotten comfortable against him, he was sound asleep. 

The next morning, he woke up before his alarm, feeling incredibly well rested. He felt a warmth against his chest and remembered what he’d done the night before, his eyes going wide. He looked down to find you asleep peacefully against him, and decided he didn’t regret what he’d done - no matter the consequences. Sure, he was terrified that you might catch onto his massive crush on you and let him down easy, but it had been worth it. In the middle of his overthinking, you stirred. 

Your eyelids fluttered open slowly and you nearly jumped out of your own skin when you realized where you were. “G-good morning,” you managed to stutter out.

“Good morning,” he rasped back, sending shivers down your spine. He felt your body react and didn’t think anything of it besides that you might be cold, so he pulled the blankets further up around the both of you. “That was easily the best sleep I’ve had in a very long time, didja know that?” You shook your head at him. “Well, it was.”

“Me too,” you told him. 

“I like waking up like this,” he commented. “Only one thing could make it better.” You looked up at him, contemplating for a moment before deciding to be bold - cupping his cheeks and pulling his face down so you could kiss him. He gladly let you do so, only pulling back to take in some air. 

“That- that was the one thing, yeah,” his voice cracked. He calmed his nerves a moment before leaning back down to kiss you this time, more prepared. This time, when he pulled back, he was grinning from ear to ear. “You know what? I think I’m gonna nail this exam later. And as a reward, I think you should let me take you on a date.”

“Yeah, Munson,” you grinned back at him, “I think I can agree to those terms.”

Just thinking about sitting outside on your porch with Matt, a blanket wrapped around your shoulders as you watch him hand out Halloween candy to each kid that comes running up with their bags and buckets with so much excitement.

“Trick or treat!”

“Whoaa! Nice costume buddy!” Matt smiles, reaching out to drop the candy into his bag, “Here you go! Happy Halloween!”

You smirk, smiling at the little girl that comes running up to you, “Trick or treat!”

“Look at you! You look beautiful!” You smile, letting her pick out a piece of candy, “Happy Halloween!”

You glance over at Matt who is sitting there looking at you. You smile shyly, “What?” He shakes his head, “Nothing, just.. thinking..”

He turns his attention to the group of children running up giggling, “And who do we have here? A firefighter, a power ranger and someone who has the same costume as me!”

“You’re a cowboy, too!?” The child asks, “Where is your hat?”

“My hat? Oh, yep. I forgot I took it off.” Matt looks around, grabbing his cowboy had from beside him, “Here we go, how about that?”

The child smiles and nods, “I like it!”

Matt smiles big and drops some candy into their bags and buckets, “Have fun tonight, kids!”

“So..” you rest your chin in your hand, your elbow on the armrest of the chair, “You were.. thinking.. about?”

He sighs, “what it’ll feel like to take our own kids trick or treating someday. what they’ll want to be.” He shrugs, shaking his head with a slight laugh, “It’s dumb.”

“It’s not stupid, Matt.” You stand up, moving your chair closer to him, “In fact, I think it’s really sweet that you’re thinking about a future with me.”

He looks over at you, giving you a smile and he sighs, his tone going into country mode, “Aw shucks, darlin’ why don’you, bring those lips over here t’mine.”

Hii >_> I'm the same person that asked for fem adeuce and reader hcs last time... first of all, ty!! I loved it so so much, it was my obsession for a week and I read them everyday 🫶 they were so cute and as a greedy creature I am, I was gonna ask for more maybe 10 days later.

Clearly, I didn't. I kind of said "Let's wait a bit more, don't wanna be annoying" and the time kind of passed fast and it's like almost a month later that I'm requesting more,,, ANYWAYS. To the actual request.

Could I have fem!adeuce (poly or not, same as before) and fem!reader that after school holydays it takes her a while to get used to the normality, finishing the classes barely making it out alive, and the more the day progresses, less social she becomes and at some point all she wants to do is lay in her bed and procrastinate.

Sorry if it's too specific or my English is bad, I did notice it's very very specific so here's other option: just a fem adeuce and fem reader fanfic, where the three of them are hanging out but super exhausted from all the classes and end up falling asleep in ramshackle.

a/n: i decided to write the second option since it's adorable ;;w;; and also i'm sorry it's so short i got kinda lazy and ran out of ideas- i hope you like it though!! ^_^

the walk from the last class of the day back to ramshackle was comfortably silent, which was unusual for your two partners and grim but you didn't mind.

that was until your worn down dorm came into view when grim started talking about something you tuned out. once you all made it inside ace immediately fell onto the couch in the lounge area, complaining about the day being way too long.

she then sat up to make room for you and deuce to sit down, your limbs suddenly felt heavy once you sat down and cuddled into ace's side. she smiles and rested her head on yours. deuce rests her head on your shoulder, her eyes slowly closing from drowsiness.

grim ended up taking his spot in your lap, curling up and quickly dozing off to sleep. you gently pet his fur as sleep overcame all your senses, after such a stressful day you all needed it.

his heart warmed when he saw your figure at the landing mere seconds after his remark. “what about my kiss”? the pouty look on your face was just so cute.

“i gave you your goodbye kiss y/n. i have to go now, dick is gonna kill me if i’m late again”.

you huffed. “yeah…but without a second one i will die. you wouldn’t want me to die would you”?

jason couldn’t help but smile at your antics. you’re the reason he went out on patrol every night. he wanted to keep you safe. give you a good life away from this horrible city.

“alright fine”. jason chuckled and opened his arms. he could never say no to those eyes. “come ‘ere”.

suddenly energized you raced down the steps and jumped into his embrace. the warmth his body gave off was comforting.

“you better be carful tonight”. you spoke into his chest.if it was up to you he’d stay home all night with you doing couple things but he had a job and you knew how important it was.

“i’ll be so carful i’ll break the world record for ‘worlds safest man’ “.

it was your turn to softly chuckle at his comment. “i mean it jason todd. come home in one piece”.

placing you back on your feet he placed a quick kiss on your lips. “i always do, love you y/n”.

Domestic prompt #7: sleeping in and cuddling the entire morning

You wake up slowly, softly easing into consciousness in the dim morning light. You blink groggily, glancing at the clock on the bedside table - 10:11 a.m. Good - you had purposely wanted to sleep in, reveling in a rare day off. And, it’s raining - just how you like it for mornings like these.

The early morning light filters through the blinds, a soft, dull light. The rain patters on the roof, the smell of water on grass and pavement coming through the slightly cracked window. The oppressive heat of the last week has finally broken thanks to the rain, much to your relief. You pull the covers up around you, your bare skin covered in goosebumps because of the temperature drop. You burrow further in the sheets and turn onto your other side, and let out a sigh of contentment at the sight before you.

Your boyfriend lies next to you, still soundly asleep. He’s facing you, lightly snoring with his face half-buried into the pillow. His face is peaceful, and content, unlike the nights where he’s plagued by nightmares of the past. Despite yourself, your breath catches in your throat - you could be with Steve for another hundred years, and the sight of him would still take your breath away. You take in his sleeping form, his mussed bedhead, the pattern of freckles and beauty marks the dapple his bare back and travel up his neck. 

You pull yourself closer to him, leaning over him and gently brushing some hair out of his face. He still doesn’t stir, stuck in a deep sleep thanks to being up late the night before. Part of you wants to let him sleep, but a selfish part of you wants him. That part wins out, and you start pressing gentle kisses to his neck, along each freckle. You make your way up to his ear, his jaw, his cheek, all the way to the tip of his nose.

His deep breathing halts, and he mumbles a little as he starts to wake up. He chuckles at the feeling of your lips on his skin, his eyes slowly blinking open. You pull back and lay on the pillow, your face inches from his.

“Good morning, handsome,” you whisper.

“Mornin’,” he murmurs, voice dark and gravel-like with sleep. Your stomach flips at the sound, and you pull yourself closer to him again, planting a slow, deep kiss on his lips. He kisses you back, bringing up a hand to cup your jaw and pull you impossibly closer. You smile into the kiss, carding your hands through his messy hair as you breathe him in. When he finally pulls away, he has warm, dopey smile on his face.

“Hi,” he whispers.

“Hi.”

You place your hand on the side of his face and stroke his cheek with your thumb. He sighs, and angles up to press a gentle kiss into your palm. 

“You sleep well?” you ask, knowing that the answer can always be a bit of a tossup.

“Mmm hmm. Real well. You?”

You nod, and exhale deeply. 

“I just never want to get out of bed,” you murmur.

He smiles, and brushes his nose against yours.

“Who says we have to?”

Then he’s wrapping your arms around you and pulling you to him, gathering you to his chest. You giggle, and press your cheek to his bare chest, feeling his heartbeat. He pulls the blanket further up so it’s covering you both. You both sit in silence for a few moments, and you’re nearly lulled back to sleep by the sound of his heart, by the rise and fall of his breathing.

You snap out of it when he presses a kiss to the crown of your head, and whispers into your hair, “I love you, you know that?”

Your heart flutters, even though you’ve heard it a thousand times before. You smile into his skin, and look up at him.

“Is that so?”

“Mmm hm.”

You pull yourself further up, until you’re brushing your nose against his cheek, forehead pressed to his temple.

“Well, that’s good,” you whisper, peppering a few kisses along his jaw, the corner of his mouth, and finally, his lips.

“Because, I love you, too.”

His face softens at that, as if he doesn’t quite believe you, even though you’ve assured him countless times that you love him, more than you can possibly say. Your heart breaks into a million pieces, then swells so much you’re afraid it may burst out of your chest. But instead, you kiss him again, languid and slow, as if you have all the time in the world.

He pulls back a little and presses his forehead to yours.

“You don’t have plans today, right?” he asks.

“No…lazy Sunday. Why?”

He grins, then, a mischievous glint in his eyes.

“Good,” he says. Without warning, he’s wrapping his arms around you, and flipping you both, so you’re underneath him. “Because I’m gonna keep you here all day.”

He pins your wrists against the mattress, and you laugh. He starts pressing kisses to your neck, sloppily making his way down to your shoulder and sucking there, sure to leave a mark later.
