goodbye kisses
i need some soft jason to cure my sadness. have this super short thing i wrote
“okay y/n i’m off for patrol. ill be back before midnight so don’t go to sleep”. jason called up from the bottom of the steps.
his heart warmed when he saw your figure at the landing mere seconds after his remark. “what about my kiss”? the pouty look on your face was just so cute.
“i gave you your goodbye kiss y/n. i have to go now, dick is gonna kill me if i’m late again”.
you huffed. “yeah…but without a second one i will die. you wouldn’t want me to die would you”?
jason couldn’t help but smile at your antics. you’re the reason he went out on patrol every night. he wanted to keep you safe. give you a good life away from this horrible city.
“alright fine”. jason chuckled and opened his arms. he could never say no to those eyes. “come ‘ere”.
suddenly energized you raced down the steps and jumped into his embrace. the warmth his body gave off was comforting.
“you better be carful tonight”. you spoke into his chest.if it was up to you he’d stay home all night with you doing couple things but he had a job and you knew how important it was.
“i’ll be so carful i’ll break the world record for ‘worlds safest man’ “.
it was your turn to softly chuckle at his comment. “i mean it jason todd. come home in one piece”.
placing you back on your feet he placed a quick kiss on your lips. “i always do, love you y/n”.
“i love you more jason”.
