Is it a thing for grenadilla piccolos to be slightly less shiny where your chin goes because the polish has actually rubbed off on your chin? I've only played it twice and it's already happening.

I've played picc for marching season and it's been so long since I've properly practiced my flute that I forgot how satisfying it is to play until the spit leaks onto your jeans and the whole instrument hums with a good vibrato on a low note ughhhh I'm so happy rn
