[OPEN POST]
Fluttershy was worried. In fact, that didn't even cover it. She was actually to the point of snapping. She couldn't handle it anymore, the waiting, the hoping for answers, the crushing feeling when Ditzy's mail revealed no new answers, only more unhelpful, useless-
"JUNK!" Fluttershy screamed out in frustration as she threw the mail across the room, scattering it haphazardly amongst the rabbit hutches, bird's nest and badger dens.
"USELESS! GARBAGE! SCARED!" Fluttershy stomped on the floor as she belted out each word, expelling them from her diminutive frame with such force on would have thought they were poison. And they were, to her. They were the poison, the sedative that flowed through her veins, the very same that gave her fright at the slightest bump, the smallest movement, the one that kept her stuck at home while the rest of the Ponyville Pegasus Search party looked for all of her missing friends.
Missing...
Fluttershy thought back to what had started not two weeks past, and was now evolving into some sort of national emergency.
Even Celestia's involved... I guess with her personal student gone missing en route, she fears the worst... Fluttershy tried to choke back tears as she thought of the same fate happening to the other ponies, and when she thought of Rainbow Dash tied down, begging to go home, then for mercy, then, at last, just for an end to the pain-
Fluttershy couldn't take it. She slumped to the ground and sobbed openly, not even caring, for once, about frightening her animal houseguests. She thought about the events that had brought her to this point, sobbing, broken, on her cottage floor.
It was like a Sherrif's worst nightmare. Ponies disappearing, no trace of where they went. First Pinkie Pie, then Rarity, even the Princess's personal student, Miss Sparkle, who had disappeared en route to Ponyville. And it was always the same: No matter how many Pegasi searched, no matter how many Unicorns sifted through leftover magic residue, searching for some sort of clue, nothing was ever found. No evidence, no arrows, pointing in a certain direction, nothing.
Fluttershy woke up, her eyes feeling dry and itchy, her face stained with the remnants of dried tears. She knew she couldn’t deal with the thought of being helpless while her friends simply vanished into thin air. But worst of all, she could feel them. She could occasionally feel them, a tug, like they were tapping on her shoulder to turn, or a noise, like they trying to talk to her across a chasm, the sound always catching her ear, calling to her to simply look, as if her friends really were just over there, if only she would look. But now, Fluttershy felt, it was time to act. Driven to action by grief, or madness, Fluttershy, usually a mare of calm and thoughtful disposition, took up a quest to find her friends, come Moon or high water.
After finally saying goodbye to all of her animal friends, including a rather tearful goodbye to the ever impassive Angel Bunny, Fluttershy readied herself to take off into the deep blue sky before Ponyville’s weather team started their next storm. As she took to the sky, struggling against the weight f her heavy saddlebags, she felt, rather than heard a noise as she took off, almost a sigh, like a breeze amongst trees. It sounded as though the entire universe was relieved that she had finally found her way, her destiny. Smiling and humming to herself, Fluttershy sped off as fast as she felt comfortable, feeling the strange noise beckoning her farther and faster.
After roughly a few hours of flying, Fluttershy alighted on the branch of a tree, with no idea where she was, but that was of no consequence to her. She knew where she was going, the tug was getting stronger, the calls in her ear louder as she flew on. Looking at the setting sun, Fluttershy knew she didn’t have long before it was too dark to fly. After a quick stop to drink from her canteen and stretch her hooves, Fluttershy took off again. But Fluttershy could feel herself moving faster and faster, as if the tug were a breeze, pushing her in the right direction, urging her forward. Finally, just as the sun had disappeared under the horizon and Fluttershy was beginning to look for a tree to sleep in for the night, she saw a set of glowing lights coming out above the trees. With renewed vigor and the thought of a nice bed to sleep in that night, Fluttershy sped towards the lights.
Finally reaching the edge of the trees, Fluttershy landed and trotted up to the façade of a large, but not imposing building. Stopping and looking around, she realized the grounds were surprisingly empty, but not creepily so, and given the hour, Fluttershy could understand why, most ponies were probably in bed. Fluttershy simply shrugged and walked up to the door, noting that it seemed slightly off-proportion, but ignoring it anyways, opening the door and carrying on into the building. Hopefully she could find some answers inside…
Oh my goodness, Fluttershy thought to herself as she trotted towards her dorm, heading, hopefully, to a good night's sleep, though the yellow pegasus expected otherwise.
What a lot to take in in such a short time... Fluttershy pondered the words of the strange headmaster who had introduced himself through the letter she found on the ground in the middle of the large building's foyer. The note had instructed Fluttershy to travel to female Dorm 7, and get a good night`s sleep so she could be ready for class tomorrow morning in classroom 3-E. The letter said not much else, except for a friendly welcome to "school of the future."
Hopefully I can sort all of this out tomorrow and be on my way, Fluttershy tried to placate herself, but she didn't believe herself. Something felt off, but not in a bad way. It felt as if something had finally clicked, like things were right once more.
It feels so... Quiet.
Then it made sense.
It was quiet.
Finally, after weeks of voices, tugs, and phantom feelings, Fluttershy felt completely uninhabited by strange feelings, sounds, or thoughts. She felt...
Right.
The word resounded in her head as she trotted along towards the dorm building, realizing, that just maybe, she had found where she belonged.
((If you are in my dorm (Female Dorm 7) or classroom, (3-E), please do not reply to this, I will have a separate post for these two groups of people that involves meeting all of each group in their respective places at once. Ie. I will be meeting my dormmates first, then my classmates the next morning. Also, to anypony who has noticed, yes, this is basically a re-written copy of my biography in the app, but I had to rewrite to fit in RP post form, and so that it would fit Twilight Sparkle's idea of not having met the others of the Mane 6 yet.))
