made a mix for inauguration day. the incoming us president ran and won on a platform of racism and nationalism. he's trying to promote the idea that this country is better with stronger borders, that to survive we have to keep everyone out. but i say fuck that. this country was founded by immigrants, built by immigrants, and is made better everyday by the contributions of people not born on us soil. he got away with this insane message because people in this country don’t know much about what happens outside of our borders. we are major cultural exporters but we don’t really show much interest in art, music, or culture from the rest of the world unless it’s repackaged to focus on us. we’re missing a lot of great stuff. i made this mix to feature music made outside of this country because the incoming president is wrong. walls make us weaker. borders are bullshit. FCK UR BRDERS
