Don’t do it… Don’t do it… Don’t do it… Don’t do it…
*turns to see what they look like*
If you look up “joy” in the dictionary, you’ll find a picture of these two.
Did you know January is “Walk Your Dog Month”? Dogs need plenty of mental and physical exercise to have healthy and fulfilling lives. Even though it’s winter, it’s still important to take some time out of your day to get out and get active with your pup! It could be a walk around the neighborhood, a nature hike, a vigorous game of fetch, a flirt pole session, a trip to the dog park, or attending agility/lure coursing/herding or any other activity. Nothing lights up our pups’ days more than spending time outside with us. First, to give some context, I’m not by nature a particularly active or athletic person. I would rather nap than hike. I would rather be inside and toasty than be outside in 23F/-5C weather. But when we got dogs, we understood it would be a lifestyle change. Our free time was reallocated to ensure our dogs’ needs were met first and foremost. And honestly? I wouldn’t have it any other way. Seeing the joy on these pups’ faces as they go flying across the field or go hiking with us for 5 miles is brilliant. Every day we try to do right by our dogs and make sure they’re happy and healthy. That’s what dog ownership is. #Drewbert #Flybert #ItsMonaTime #ToZoom #corgi https://www.instagram.com/p/BtLoqOUFklL/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1nzix00hevg4p
Cheer up! Better days are ahead of you. They’re called Saturday and Sunday! #Drewbert #Flybert #ItsMonaTime #ToCelebrate #tgif
Look at the full extension on this doggo! I know it may be shocking to some, but corgis are supposed to have a waistline and a visible abdominal tuck. And you’re supposed to be able to easily feel their rib cage. Saying your dog is “big boned” or “just really fluffy” or “THICC” is a lousy excuse. Our dog is all of those things, but he still has great body condition. A fat dog is not cute, it’s extremely detrimental to their health and puts undue stress on their joints, back, and hips. Don’t do that to your dogs. Be better than that. #Drewbert #Flybert #corgi
