George Preddy's replacement
"White 85" as flown by J. Clay Tice in Papau New Guinea 1942-43. "White 85" is a notable plane due to the fact that George Preddy flew it before Tice. Preddy after flying in the defense of Darwin was transferred to the "Blue Nosed Bastards of Bodney" where he became the highest scoring mustang pilot of the war. The model was built from the Academy P-40e kit. This kit was a blast to build, easy assembly with decent detail. The decals came from Superscale's 49th fg sheet.
