We are currently updated the FLYING GLORY AND THE HOUNDS OF GLORY website, but while that’s going on I began to wonder what Flying Glory would look like as a Japanese Anime Idol singer in the 1980s.
Flying Glory and the Hounds of Glory is a webcomic about a teen age rock band that are also super heroes.
Love Triangle One of the subplots of FLYING GLORY AND THE HOUNDS OF GLORY is the relationship between Lucy and Vince. (Shroud and Rumble) Just before the series got started this young musical couple broke up because Lucy had caught Vince with one too many girls. It hurt her a lot. Though it has been a struggle, they have not let it effect their music or the band. Now Vince has met Dyllian and their relationship has become serious, not just another one night stand. Lucy can see that he's really happy now, and she wants to be happy for him but it still hurts. Vince and Dyllian are truly in love, but Dyllian holds more than one dark secret that could destroy their relationship and all of FLYING GLORY AND THE HOUNDS OF GLORY.Find out more about Lucy, Vince, and Dyllian in the pages of the FLYING GLORY AND THE HOUNDS OF GLORY webcomic at http://www.flying-glory.com

Eddie Farmer couldn't be more thrilled to be at San Diego Comic-Con with a pro badge along with all his friends of Flying Glory and the Hounds of Glory and Villians of Vengeance - Krystal Wexler doesn't appear all that thrilled to be there. Yet.
INTO THE ARCHIVES - PENCILS FROM ISSUE #1, PAGE 1
While our issues are on hiatus, we promised to spend the next couple months giving glimpses and insights into the evolution of FLYING GLORY AND THE HOUNDS OF GLORY.
One gem Shannon unearthed on her computer were copies of the pencils from the first 12 pages or so of Issue 1. There really isn't a script lying around for Issue 1, it was done more "Marvel style" where action was described on a high level and Kevin worked on staging panels. He would then email Shannon the pencils, and then she would use another layer to write back suggested dialogue, which he would then place while inking. Bear in mind these were done in 2001, and Kevin's art has really improved since. There will be more interesting trivia as we go along... promise!

FLYING GLORY AND THE HOUNDS OF GLORY's resident geek, not to mention anime and manga fan, is Eddie Farmer (also known as Cap'n Plunder on stage). He's a couple years younger than the person he's longing after. Watch what happens when otaku Eddie tries to mix the traditions of East and West to approach the one's who has attracted his interest...
Fashion Design for Flying Glory
Sometime ago JList posted the anime/manga meme image of a girl in a turtleneck sweater withe a keyhole front. It turns out that there is a lot of artwork of girls in these sweaters showing off their assets. Since then a lot of artists have done their own interpretation of the sweater. So, without doing the overt sexuality of it, I wanted to do something with the sweater with my FLYING GLORY AND THE HOUNDS OF GLORY characters.
The band's costume designer Krystal Wexler has been shown some art designs by Eddie Farmer (Capt'n Plunder of the Villains of Vengeance - stage villains during performances). Eddie is totally into Manga and Anime and designs his own Costplay outfits. So he designed a keyhole sweater based on the internet meme and Krystal liked it enough to make something for Debra (Flying Glory) to wear.
It doesn't have the same impact as other girls wearing it would. But that's the point. Not every super heroine can be Power Girl, and they shouldn't be.
Anyway, enjoy. Then goes visit the FLYING GLORY AND THE HOUNDS OF GLORY webcomic at www.flying-glory.com
