NEW FLYING GLORY AND THE HOUNDS OF GLORY WEBSITE IN PROGRESS!

Hello everyone! Just wanted to give you a status of what's been going on with FLYING GLORY AND THE HOUNDS OF GLORY. We've been on the same web site structure since we launched and for various reasons are now making the move to Wordpress. Due to the large number of issues we've finished, we've decided to go with completed PDFs of every issue versus a page by page webcomic Wordpress theme because that just didn't seem to be manageable in our experiments. Going this route means we will have to roll out all of THE GIFT at once instead of page by page, and still have to decide how this affects any future installments.

One thing we did discover while setting up to do this was a Graphic Novel of Issues 1 through 4 that we tried to pitch around  a number of years back when the market was more open for this. For that project, we actually took the opportunity to make several additional pages that better fleshed out some character backgrounds and provided additional foreshadowing to where the stories took us (sometimes they went places we didn't initially anticipate). We've made the decision that when the new site opens, we will launch with issues 1 through 4 back to being black and white but with the added pages included. Right now, Kevin is going through the original (and much older) Photoshop files to do new layout on the text and restore some art that has corrupted, plus additional cleanup as warranted.

Needing to launch this project has also stalled the prose novella MASQUERADE indefinitely as well, as it would take time from this project. We apologize for these delays but hope in the long run everyone will benefit with a better quality comic experience and prose novella.

We hope to unveil this for you by the year's end, if not sooner. For now, to give you a taste of some of the added content, please see the attached new page from Issue 1.

Love Triangle One of the subplots of FLYING GLORY AND THE HOUNDS OF GLORY is the relationship between Lucy and Vince. (Shroud and Rumble) Just before the series got started this young musical couple broke up because Lucy had caught Vince with one too many girls. It hurt her a lot. Though it has been a struggle, they have not let it effect their music or the band. Now Vince has met Dyllian and their relationship has become serious, not just another one night stand. Lucy can see that he's really happy now, and she wants to be happy for him but it still hurts. Krystal Animated Fashion

Here is Krystal Wexler one of our guitar players, and is the super heroine Aura. She’s also the band’s fashion and costume designer. You’ll never see her wear the same outfit twice. Kevin and Shannon have been contemplating on turning FLYING GLORY AND THE HOUNDS OF GLORY in to an animated series from time to time. So Kevin has been sketching the characters as how they might look animated. Might also work for what she might look like as a doll with doll fashions. Similar to Ever After High and Monster High from Mattel.

As you may have seen in our recent YouTube video, Kevin is back at work on pages for THE GIFT. We want to make sure we have a few ready when we start up again. Watch social media for updates. Also, Shannon apologizes for delays in the prose story MASQUERADE. Unexpected opportunities on the writing front have this delayed, but she still hopes to have this released by the end of 2017.
