A Photographic Fairy Tale!
French born photographer Laurent Chehere is known for his work for high profile clients as Nike and Audi, after he swapped his commercial cap for that of a world traveler, gathering inspiration from the beauty of Japan, Bolivia, Argentina, and more. The series “Flying Houses” which he began in 2007, was inspired by the architecture of Paris, Chehere’s city, particularly that of the 19th and 20th arrondissements. A collection of fantastic buildings, houses and tents that have been removed from their backgrounds and are suspended into the sky as if permanently airborne. Employing traditional photography and digital manipulation, his surreal series elevates architecture to a new level.
