!!!! yOU’RE SO KIND!! thank you!! omg it was insane it was basically after the iheart awards where she dragged us on live television about us paying attention to detail and she had went radio silent for like 2 weeks (no insta, no tumblr, no twitter, no NOTHING) and then she came back and followed me at 1:22 pm (give or take a minute) when i was standing at the train station heading to class. it was an ordinary wednesday and i remember my dash was pretty quiet and i was just waiTING for something to happen so i could reblog new things and then i refreshed my activity and ?? she was at the top ?? it was wow it was like my entire world had changed but when i looked up, people on the train were just...normal?? and i’m freaking out inside. it was so crazy fghdgjd

yeah like... i feel people keep crossing that line between “there’s an issue with how fans are chosen for these events and i really wish there was a broader scope for fans who are chosen” to “NO ONE CAN ATTEND ANY BECAUSE I DIDN’T GET AN INVITE”. like it’s reasonable to criticize the process, to critique taylor nation’s selection process (though it should be noted: taylor swift herself does have a hand in this process), to think fans should be vetted more for these because of the sexists/homophobes that get chosen but it’s entirely unreasonable to suggest no one should get it because... that’s not a solution! it merely robs more fans of an opportunity we would all like to have!
