Sept 27-28: Week 2!! 🦝
This week was my day 3 and 4th. A lot happening, perhaps because it was the end of the week it was busy. I was so excited to be back to the airport and helping passengers.
This week I felt more confident and comfortable talking with passengers. Helping them with directions and at the kiosk got much easier.
I also set myself a goal in learning all of my shifts CSR team names and I was proud to memorize them all at the end of my shift. Another goal I set myself was to memorize where the other airlines at the terminal were located so I could give the exact directions to passengers. I also achieved this goal.
This week I got to experience my first canceled flight and I was able to learn on how the CSR and Supervisors prepared and Overcame the chaotic atmosphere. Everyone worked so hard 👏
We were also able to shadow behind the counters and help passengers with tags. I learned a lot and realized how fast CSRs are.
I loved that this week I had more opportunities to help passengers in Spanish and there was one passenger who spoke Korean but I was too shy to help them (I will try on my next shift, if I get the chance), I started to pick up words in other languages and say it back at passengers (I notice they love it). This week I also received many compliments and kind words from passengers (I even received a blown kiss at me) it really helps me realize that I might be providing a good performance.
Porter was celebrating all of September’s staff birthdays and got cake for them. We were all allowed to have some. ✨It was very yummy, ✨very thoughtful, ✨very demure ✨
