Mythical Armory Day 9: Flyssa + Werewolf

Time for a big hairy woman! She is definitely a lot of fun!

(I was going to add a small cartoony werewolf with a rubber flyssa, but time sucked that away. Instead, I drew it as a small keychain!)

The sword of the day is the flyssa.

This sword is from the Kabyle people of Algeria, and ranged from long knife (12in/30cm) to long sword (38in/97cm), all of which were designed to be one-handed weapons. The blade features a swell at the point of percussion, the best part of the sword to hit someone with, that aids in cutting, as well as a needle-like point that makes it a highly effective thrusting sword. The pommel traditionally features an animal head; however, it’s unclear what kind of animal it actually is.
