Why did this day have to get weirder? Julia noticed someone who looked awfully familiar, but waited to see if that person recognized her. Until then, Julia went back to whatever she was working on, but kept watch to see if they would come over.
Riza peacefully sat at her desk, finishing the last tidbits of her paperwork (Mustangs paperwork), and she sighed, a last sigh of defeat and impatience.
It was a lovely Saturday and Roy Mustang decided to use his free weekend to take a walk, and maybe indulge himself with a movie to let his always-busy mind a little time off to wander as he kept his eyes busy watching something useless.
Right now, he was still at the 'take a walk' part, choosing one of the few parks Central had to offer. It was a nice one; at the edge of the city, almost outside of it, at the suburbs. Very green, a nice, small (and artificial) lake surrounded by a trail for joggers. Some trees decorated the relatively large lawns. It was a nice hour, too. Somewhere around early noon, when most people were eating their lunch and either were done with their trips to the park or still didn't get to it, so the place was almost empty, only spotted by several couples sitting quietly, enjoying a calm conversation or having a picnic, he really didn't care. There were also a few families with children, but they weren't too loud - just playing among themselves or bugging the nature animals.
With a smile, Roy chose a nice, rather secluded spot to sit at, and watched the few birds that had the courage to venture to the artificial water source. It was a very relaxing scene, so very different than what he was used to in his office, and he wanted to enjoy it while he could.
You're just as short as I remember.
It may have been a few years since they'd seen each other, but there was no mistaking Edwina Elric, even on the other side of a crowded street. In spite of the slightly awkward situation that the two had found themselves in the last time they'd met, Russell felt a small smile creep over his face as he jogged across the street to catch up.
"Hey! Ed! Wait up!" It was a little more difficult pushing through the midday shoppers than he would have liked, but he'd grown tall enough that it wasn't too hard to follow the familiar form. Waiting for her to hear him and turn to see who it was who'd called her, Russell raised a hand in hopes that she would spot him and wait for him to catch up.
(( would you mind rping with us ? ))
