( for @fmd-minhyuk )
as miyoung arrived at the entrance of the trick eye museum in seoul, she was so nervous that she felt as if her stomach were full of butterflies fluttering around. she hadn’t gone on a date since high school, and while the virtual marriage was simply for the cameras, it still felt like she were going on a blind date. “ah, i’m so nervous,” she confessed sheepishly to the cameraman that walked beside her. “do you think my husband will like me? i’ll be surprised if he even knows who i am.” miyoung couldn’t help but confess such a thing; she only made her official debut barely a week ago, after all. the museum lobby wasn’t filled to the brim with people, but was still bustling enough that she wouldn’t be able to find her virtual husband within a few moments. the museum only opened less than an hour ago for the day, so people were still piling in to pay for their tickets and enter the exhibits; maybe she could find her husband there.
while she peered around the reception area and ticket counter, miyoung slipped her hand into her picket, fishing around and pulling out the list that was provided to her earlier that week. “here’s the only clue i have!” she confessed with a smile, presenting the list to the camera before turning on her heel and striding across the tile floor. “i wonder who my husband is...” miyoung murmured, trailing off while she focused on looking around for the person she would be virtually married to. in the process of examining the area, there was a familiar hunch of the shoulders that caught her eye. tall frame, dark brown hair, and even the slope of his nose as he turned his head to the side got her attention. “oh!” she exclaimed, stopping in her tracks and staring before hastily unfolding the sheet of names and scanning the list for a few moments.
her suspicions were confirmed soon enough, and as miyoung’s expression morphed into one of celebration, she turned to the camera and nodded toward the man a few meters away. “minhyuk-sunbae!” she mouthed, grinning proudly. if there was any male group in the industry that she’d recognize the members from off the bat, origin was that group; it also helped that they were from gold star media as well. jumping up and down for a moment, she beckoned the camera to follow her while she slipped the sheet of paper into her purse. “minhyuk-sunbae?” she called out gently and quietly, approaching him with a soft smile and tapping him on his shoulder. “are you looking for your wife?”
