         he almost had a small wish that knight’s tour was already over with, that they’d get a bit more of a break from having to do all the traveling. but, he knew there was still time left for this tour, that they wouldn’t get so lucky to not have to move around so much. he wasn’t the type to wish time away, but he really wished that it would end quickly; even if the next leg hasn’t started just yet. but, they were already back in the practice rooms, making sure they were in tip top shape for the rest of the tour. 

he looked over to minsik moments after practicing, before he’s sitting down on the floor, which makes duri look up. “can we take a break?” he asked, clearly exhausted. “sorry, just a few minutes,” he says with a small giggle. duri was tired, that was probably clear enough. he wouldn’t usually stop, but he wanted to make sure he wasn’t going to collaspe. he was going to be fine, there was no need to worry. “shall i treat you to a meal after this?”

23. what place do you want to travel to the most?

if he could hop on a plane and go anywhere, it’d be back home to san francisco, but that’s not what they’re asking. ash has been all over the world since he debuted with knight, but it’s rare that he gets to stay in any one place for long enough to get a feel for it. the south of france or the italian countryside, he writes down and scribbles a simple smiley face next to it. “i’d like to go anywhere with some quiet and a pretty view,” he explained further to the fan, a gentle smile on his lips as he imagined it.

24. what language would you like to learn?

“ah, i’m not very good at languages,” ash huffs cutely to the fan. “any language would be good, but knight has a lot of fans in japan and china, so i’d like to be better at japanese or mandarin.” the fan argues that that’s not fair because he’s already good at those, which is a bold-faced lie, but ash searches his mind for another answer instead. “italian or french? i like artists who sing in both languages, so i’d like to not have to look up translations to understand what they’re saying.”

26. what is your favorite movie/book you’ve seen/read recently? 

the only books ash reads are nonfiction on music and songwriting and that doesn’t sound like the kind of thing that makes for a good answer, so he searches his brain for the last movie he watched, which isn’t much easier. “you know i’m a big taylor swift fan, right? she has a documentary on netflix you should watch. it’s really good!”

can you give some inspiring words for someone going through a hard time?

seungwoo hates getting questions like this. he understands why people ask - they’re looking for support from someone they look up to. he always feels like his answers are inadequate, no matter what he says. “keep going! everything is temporary!” is what seungwoo settles on, though he worries that it could just make things sound worse.

what is your favorite movie/book you’ve seen/read recently?

seungwoo kind of feels like his brain is buffering. he’s the kind of guy who falls asleep during movies most of the time, and he hasn’t read a book since he dropped out of high school. the line of fans isn’t getting any shorter though, so hastily he scribbles down, “my neighbour totoro.” it’s the last film he can remember watching. “have you seen it?” he asks, “i know it’s childish and typical, but i think it’s cute.”

20. can you give some inspiring words for someone going through a hard time?

“ It will pass. I know it doesn’t seem like it and that this is the oldest advice ever but it will. Life is made of cycles, of ups and down, a wheel of fortune that sometimes you’re on top of and sometimes you’re buried under. I don’t know how long it’s going to take for it to pass, or how much you’re going to have to endure it but you can make it through. Get help if you can and if you need, because turning to professional help is something we shouldn’t be ashamed of. ”

29. what job would you want if you weren’t an idol?

They don’t have to think much about that. “‌ Probably a teacher. Most likely a music one but I think I could teach Korean well, as well. Though I might’ve found that a bit restrictive. You guys know my parents are artists and well – it always felt like it was inevitable for me to go down that route, one way or another. So any type of Arts teacher. ”

what song have you been listening to a lot that you would recommend to fans?

“distance by 7rophy! ...yes, our own song. it’s a b-side from black dress. i think it’s one of the nicest songs we’ve released. it really inspired me to try writing my own music, so i’d recommend it to anyone who wants a song that makes them feel.”

what is do you consider to be your most charming feature/trait?

“hey, what kind of question is this? i don’t think anything in particular about me is too charming. should i say my humility, then, since i can’t think of anything? if i have to choose something, i think it has to be my voice.”

how should i ask out the person i like?

“just tell them. the best way to do it is to be direct. the worst thing that might happen is they’ll say no. the best that might happen is they’ll say yes. and i’m sure that later on, they’ll appreciate the honesty either way.”

Warmth: What is your happy place?

”My happy place is somewhere I can truly be free. Free of the burden to impress anyone and free of the burden to be anything but ”perfect”. I’d love a place where I can be everything and anything I want to be without being shamed for it. Without restrictions of what I can and cannot do, my happy place would be such a place for me.”
